Yep right on their doorstep with way less red tape as everything already in full swing there .
As you know I’ve always thought a sale is the inevitable conclusion here , but I’m all for adding value in the meantime especially as we have no idea what exactly would or wouldn’t be sold( I suspect the lot but would love the opportunity to remain invested in some of our unexplored licences).
The silence here is ( as always) deafening but I suspect a clear direction will be laid out for us before too long.
As for the strategic review I’m at a loss as to why this would take so long as they must have already agreed a common path forward in order to accommodate the merger, hence my previous comments with regards to it being somewhat of a smokescreen.
I guess we’ll all find out one day

Ray I agree just got to wait it out.
Not long til we see something in black and white and then the “sale merchants” ( myself included) and the “productionistas” will all know whether they were right or wrong.
Some will be pleased, some may have to eat humble pie ( if they’re big enough to do so ) but then we’ll all know where we stand and can all be one big happy family ….
Hopefully we hang on to a couple of the unexplored licenses so this beautiful journey can continue.

Whatever comes out in the JV will have been decided long ago. There’s no way the merger would have happened unless they’d already agreed a common path forward.
All we really know for certain is we ain’t taking this to production.
