Add I’m confident the share price will repair. The DFS was a waste of time as it was a load of premature studies based on a suboptimal model (20% of the ore body). In this way no one would have achieved a decent price. Continuing to optimise the project will enable a new assessment of the true value of this project in an environment of much higher copper and gold prices.
In the meantime we continue on, cutting wasteful expenditure , hopefully making new discoveries and building competitive tension. This is how shareholder value will be created and all the while a bid could drop at any time.
I’ve never been more certain this will be sold but these things take time and it’ll be worth the wait.

Absolutely….. with the board now comprised of massively invested/ incentivised individuals there is no way they are going to watch their potential return decimated by entering a JV and destroying any potential T/O premium.
This will be taken out by a major I have no doubt in time and at a substantial premium to todays price.
In the meantime continuing to optimise the project will enable a new assessment of the true value of this project in an environment of much higher copper and gold prices. this is all achievable without locking into premature engineering studies based on an unoptimised model. That would be a waste of time & money as it’d all have to be redone.
There will be no indication of any offers on the horizon until it happens then hopefully all hell will break loose.
Much as I was a little taken back by Scott’s options on reflection I’m starting to see it as a good thing as he is massively incentivised and I’m sure there will be certain performance criteria that need meeting.
On a separate note I did question the company on the lack of updates on the website and asked the reason why ….. apparently whole website currently undergoing a revamp.

Agreed but I think the (near enough) 19m shares he already had would have been pretty good motivation. Having said that if he gets the price moving north it’ll be easier to swallow as we all benefit …. Still smacks a little of jobs for the boys

I’m sure these cheap options stick in the throats of many long term shareholders (including myself).
My view is that they would have known how badly this would have been received when (as far as we know) they have achieved nothing so far. Therefore my conclusion is that it’s time sensitive and they couldn’t leave it any longer without missing out.
I guess we’ll find out one day

In the same way they may not need money due to an impending foreseen cash injection I wonder if that’s why Solg seem to feel no need to update many areas of the website ( major shareholders for starters) … just think these things take time but I have every confidence in Bob and his team coming through here .
