That’s exactly why he’s acting in our interests.
He needs to play this out as long as possible in order to generate maximum value with the drill bit and that’s exactly what he’s doing . No one ( in their right mind ) is suggesting he really intends to take this to production ..... it’s all part of the game

Personally I think NM is doing just fine under extraordinary circumstances,
Thus far he has rebuffed all pressure from our larger shareholders to dilute the hell out of the private investors and that’s why he got my full support at the recent AGM .
As we speak there are probably at least half a dozen rigs turning and this has again been achieved amid the most difficult global climate .
Perfectly happy to wait .... I have to say if I didn’t back the management of a company I probably wouldn’t be invested in it .

Ice if they want to place say 500m shares can they simply not go to the highest bidder ?

Could they not be issued to whoever is willing to pay the highest price ?

Nick was as vulnerable yesterday as he’s ever been in his tenure. Everyone has now shown their hand and he has survived. With the shares he has at his disposal this year he can now ensure this never happens again. Ironically he will be in a position to dilute the crap out of BHP & NCM which is precisely what they would gladly have seen happen to us .
Get the Chinese on board for say 10% and you have 2/3 serious players on the register none of whom will allow another to walk away with this for a song ..... all leading to maximising shareholder value for all of us including Nick ..... job done
