I find it impossible to disagree with Monty, all the signs are there for a very decisive change of strategy and progress.
AB has an awful lot of skin in this company. He has all the control that is required to make whatever changes he deigns necessary in order to make this work. Why would he sit back and not act, especially after making so many very obvious references to the fact that he recognises that an internal revolution is required.
We as investors believe that this is a great concept which has been badly mishandled by the company. We are offering the trade to put bums on the empty seats they have in their restaurants. We are offering this chance to substantially increase their turnover with no upfront cost. For the restaurant it is a win, win, win situation. If it does not work, kick it into touch. If it is a success then pay the company per filled seat out of extra revenue already received. Every night should be like a winning lottery night for our restaurants!!!
Clearly, at this moment that is not generally how things are, it is how things should be. If a simpleton like myself can see that then you must recognise that the companies largest shareholder can also see shortcomings and he has expressed the need to eliminate them. Now he is telling us all that those changes are coming very soon.
Whatever those changes are they will be aimed at rapid expansion of our client base and if successful will see this sp accelerate very quickly. We know how quickly this share can move, do not get left behind because before you know it, the sp will be 5p again!!!
Difference this time, is if the changes bring the desired results the sp will not come back to these levels again, quite the reverse, and to get back in you will pay a large premium!!
