Australia has seen some backlash towards hydrogen projects, I think its a bit like when London wouldn't take hydrogen buses as when asked if they could be used as a bomb, the answer was yes! The same could be said for all those petrol cars but hey ho.

When directors normally buy in, it is before some news and although there is a fine line between insider trading and not, if the European patent comes through and the DMG unit is working, they could say this was public knowledge...

Looking at the cash in the bank at the end of December last year and the loss posted, unless we have some really good news and sales there must be a cash call before the end of the year...

How the GTL production process works

The GTL process consists of three stages:

In the first stage synthesis gas, a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, is manufactured from natural gas by partial oxidation. Impurities are removed from the syngas.

A second stage converts the synthesis gas into liquid hydrocarbons using a catalyst. In this stage, a liquid is formed which looks and feels like wax at room temperature.

The final stage is cracking and isomerisation, which “tailors” the molecule chains into products with desired properties. This yields high-quality liquids such as diesel, kerosene and lubricant oil.

Hi D, I think trying to justify the right to be socially irresponsible is a slippery slope. I agree with rh that the tax on cigarettes has made a difference and although I am not a fan of extra tax, it is what you do with any additional revenue that is important.

My point on plastics is more around single use. Years ago supermarkets invested in bags that fall apart after so many years, all this has done is to make bags harder to dispose of (thousands of little bits).

PHE will help with taking plastic material as feedstock but we still need people to be more socially responsible, be this someone scrapping by or someone living in a mansion, wealth or poverty is not an excuse.

Hi Dusty, so next time you go shopping observe those individuals buying carrier bags. It would seem as though those individuals shopping in cut price supermarkets just don't care less about throwing stuff away so yes make them pay for the privilege.

This is not about taxing people, its about social responsibility...

We have a major problem with plastic waste, it ends up in huge landfill sites, is burnt giving off toxic fumes and worst of all our oceans are riddled with the stuff, not to mention us!

I would like to see a time where you get charged for a plastic bottle and get 10p back when you return it. Plastic bags at supermarkets need to be £1 minimum as well, way to many people still dumping them and when you buy food at eat in diners, the government need to tax those companies using plastic utensils as all of them get binned.

You need to remember there are strict rules around director purchases (insider information etc.), don't expect any new for another few weeks now unless the other directors show support.

TFG (Polygon) are sitting on a heavy loss, maybe they'll put some more dosh in for some cheap shares.

Like most been badly stung by this share but nowhere near the level of TFG :-(

You do see smaller companies with lots of shares so unless there is a massive upturn in SP they do consolidate when the time is right.

I know there have been debates on is PHE looking to sell hydrogen to which the answer previously has always been know but with companies wanting them to have some "skin in the game" (short for we don't want all the risk), I see very much a split model developing.

Once there are a few plants going and companies happy to returns that skin will reduce quite dramatically...

When we get some proper news the share value will change and at some point PHE will probably do a share revaluation giving you 1 for every 100 shares. Having billions of shares for a company this size is only done to keep it under the radar and attract speculative traders.

No real trading being done at the moment this kind of share is likely to see big increases on the back of good tangible news

PHE has always been interested in licensing their technology which is why they are striking up partnership agreements. Interestingly though some of those recent agreements require PHE having some skin in the game, all things being well they should benefit from this long term.

marquis, i am happy to see any comments based on factual information rather than negative hearsay. this board has been used a lot for disinformation and users ****ging off other users...

Good positive RNS with various stalled projects now moving forward. Would have been good if it included an expected date for the European patents but expecting more news in the next couple of months.

There's no volume to talk of, everyone waiting for news. We have seen 25% + spreads before, based on market makers...
