The only concerning thing is if someone makes a crap low ball offer like bluecoast and try to take this privately. the best offer can only come from a bigger player like vue or odeon, but i only see this fitting the style and business branding of odeon

A few things, odeon near me is still almost near 10 quid even with offer, and food still more than 10 quid. anyway all irrelevant points, Everyman has different locations, almost like a cinema cornershop. Odeon cant get to those locations in inner deeper london in some cases . I think the share price dipping is stupid, fact is everyman has grown sites, more seats and locations, cineworld in trouble through its own faults. I can see odeon making a play for everyman as it will give odeon more profits actually on the food drink etc. and due to the better clientele at the everyman locations - higher earners, with Superman out on 11 July 2025 itll be a strong year for cinema again and mission impossible too, all speculative stuff. if EMAN can get that debt down, which they hopefully will then that will help, we have also seen much increased private equity activity in the UK cinema sector recently with acquisitons

Yes less debt, more screens, more sites etc etc. we will rival odeon soon enough. and that is a massive massive issue beause then we are really undervalued in cinema sector given cineworld already in trouble and vue cherry picking sites, I can see Odeon trying a takeover here, no guarantees but you never know!
