PAM and MFA solutions, i.e. the highest security of resources
The key element that distinguishes cybersecurity solutions is effective protection against unauthorized access to corporate applications and data. In addition, from a business point of view, sales efficiency, license transparency, ease of implementation and simple operation are important. Osirium PAM and Swivel Secure MFA solutions meet these criteria.
Multi-factor authentication is gaining more and more popularity. There are many solutions on the market offering similar functionality, but in most cases they are based on two components (2FA), and experience has shown that SMS codes can be hijacked as a result of a hacking attack. Swivel Secure, the producer of the MFA (Multi-Factor Authenticator) solution, goes one step further and offers the possibility of combining several authentication methods to log into a given application. We can combine these methods to create an "MFA chain" of up to 10 authorization components.
Solution Swivel Secure provides all the authentication method. Customers can use physical tokens, SMS codes, a dedicated mobile application (in PUSH mode), telephone or e-mail notifications and, most interestingly, the proprietary and patented PINsafe technology. This method consists in generating one-time codes without the need to use external carriers (token, telephone) or applications for this purpose, which is a great simplification and an advantage for those customers whose users do not have a business telephone.
This solution works similar to logging in at some banks, where, despite a long and complicated password, we are asked to enter only selected, indicated characters. It's the same with Swivel Secure - a user-defined PIN is never entered completely. We can use the same mechanism when logging into Windows. It is a unique functionality compared to other MFA solutions.
Swivel Secure enables integration with many systems. From web applications, such as Microsoft 365 or others using the SAML protocol, through the ability to act as a RADIUS server (e.g. with VPNs), to API integration with applications used by the client. It is worth adding that all integrations as well as authorization methods are available under one license, at no additional charge. In the field of cybersecurity, an important group of solutions are PAS - Priviliged Access Security products, including excellent, but still little known on the Polish market, Osirium products- PAM and modules: PPA - Privileged Process Automation and PEM - Privileged Endpoint Management. Osirium PAM stores and manages administrator passwords. It easily and securely manages connections with target systems, such as Windows and Linux servers, network devices and firewalls.
