I'd like to know how many different companies you are invested in, if you would kindly oblige: just I see you posting up a lot of rns on various boards and maybe your history in the companies is buried so reason for posting is difficult to appreciate.

Have you got them in an ISA. It may be they have to be transferred out now as AIM stock are not allowed but maybe there are exceptions for cases like UNIQ. Just a thought. My Mother's are in an ISA but she hasn't been contacted yet.

My Mother's break even for the shares I bought her £3.59! Only 389 shares now.

I didn't think they had but ten times the shares issued to pay off the pension fund, whatever, Spayne Lindsay are prepared to advise the sale of the majority holding if a purchaser is found.

I am of the opinion things can only improve from here so why sell, if the shares settle after reorganisation it wouldn't surprise me if someone approaches the pension fund re a takeover although they have said they will unload over time.

The Restructuring will be implemented by means of a "regulated apportionment arrangement" and through a scheme of arrangement which requires approval from Shareholders and the sanction of the High Court Sorry, I hadn't noticed this when I did my dilution post and haven't a clue what it means but the effect is the same I would think.

Probably similar to todays price as the pension trouble has been depressing the share and now they have to climb up from the bottom. I don't exactly know the cause for the pension deficit but the city and recession and then conservative investments with returns of less than inflation while final salary pensions still have to be funded probably has something to do with it. Essentially we are propping up the economy!

Looks like a gigantic overhang and a 10x dilution to provide the 90%. Does anyone know if this will be the case?

Up 50% on my post a year ago

It may be out of order but I have emailed the Pension Regulator asking whether their jobs are necessary because I would have thought there is always a civil remedy and the uncertainty they are causing is sinking the Company. Perhaps a few cuts would help the economy.

As the majors build their mining assets up there will be greater executive travel on the continent and to compete they will not all fly around in private jets which are expensive to fuel with aviation diesel. I think we might be surprised in 2 or 3 yrs at how this airline could become popular and preferable to the national carriers. mr L. must think so and he could be right. On the other hand, you could be right!
