I feel an RNS dropping soon!! Norm after a period of silence from the BODs and on this board!!!! :-)
Well I’m certainly looking forward to the upcoming launches of next generation sports cars! DBX a massive success as are the specials. Whilst the last quarterly update didn’t blow the roof off, their was plenty in there to be optimistic about IMO.
Bounced off 210p 3 or 4 times the last could of months so seems to be good resistance there and could be a new bottom unless external forces murky the water. GLA
Nothing about that not too like or be positive about pekingduck!!! :-)))
Some good volume and price rise in the SP to end the week nicely!! That’ll do for starters :-)
Excellent news!!! This extract reads well too:
With an energy capacity equivalent to the daily electricity use of more than 3,500 homes, this will be the largest UK-manufactured battery ever deployed. Approximately six times larger than Invinity's battery at the Energy Superhub Oxford, it will also be one of the world's largest flow batteries. Finally, with the ability to deliver full power for a discharge duration of over four hours, this battery is expected to be the largest longer duration battery asset serving the UK grid.
Showcasing IES’s abilities nicely in a real world environment :-)
Just topped up in anticipation with another £1000 taking my total investment in IES to £15k.
Hoping for a multi-bagger here in the years ahead :-)

Good to see that the Chief Development Officer has bought £25k’s worth of shares :-)
If you say so Quickdip with your 1st time post!!!!!
It’s not been a good week at all for many stocks and True that the run up to 300 was definitely aided by the ‘Alonso effect’ but the SP will soon be back to and beyond 300p. Some profit taken by a few I’m sure and shorters desperately trying to get out of a hole now but next quarter will be better than the last and results will only get stronger moving forward.
In its own right Aston Martin really turning a corner when you look into the margin and if the F1 team continue to outperform as they did last weekend, it will massively promote the brand and sales of cars.
Push, that’s the problem with many things these days isn’t it!!!! Made cheaply for a quick buck but that doesn’t work in the long term.
Thanks for your thoughts Richard.
Ferrari have had an extremely well developed product and brand for decades and that continues to be the case. Whilst Aston Martin itself has been around for more than 100 years, I believe it’s fair to say that in recent decades, it’s not been managed particularly well and carried an unwanted shadow of ‘unreliability’ in its cars and desirability of 1 or 2 in particular.
The ‘Stroll Era’ feels to me like Aston Martin’s being re-born and by far for the better. It wants to be the next ‘Ferrari’ but actually, more than that I believe. Stroll’s vision is for Aston Martin to become the ‘Ultimate Luxury Global Brand’ and with the investors and people he’s bringing to Aston Martin, would you want to bet against him achieving that?!!!
Re F1, this first week of the new season has shown just how powerful and valuable it is to a brand and what reach it has to a global audience. Aston Martin’s share price jumped 35% alone after the successes of Fernandinho and Lance at Bahrain last weekend. It was the BIG cherry on top after the final results Aston Martin released and just massively complemented the overall direction, feeling and collectively achievements that are developing in and around the Aston Martin brand.
I briefly hit break even yesterday and was tempted (albeit just momentarily!) to sell out but too much momentum all around Aston Martin and positive news in the final results keeping me in!! Significantly Increased margins in the numbers and with CapEx peaking this year too, margins will be stronger still looking forward. Record order book, got to be brave or stupid to continue shorting here at this time IMO. GLA
Personally, I Don’t see a takeover at this time unless someone pays a huge multiplier but you never know.
Safe to say they enjoyed those laps!!!!! Truly remarkable machine and summarises everything about the ambition, capabilities and direction of Aston Martin. Feels like we’re now entering the honeymoon period!!!! :-)
