little movement in the SP over on the Nasdaq though.. a better day for gold price! but will it hold? don't hold your breath..

ah that profit warning came out this morning then. explains the drop to around 365p. i'm gutted i didn't get a buy in this morning at around that price. i sold some around 382p the other day after buying at around 365p so that was a re-entry op i missed. but then again if airliners Easyjet and now Ryanair annoucing making profit warnings then how long before IAG does the same?.. that must be playing on investors minds now. S&P 500 turning lower off the earlier highs so doesn't look like there will be any follow through buying tomorrow.

me too, back in at 364.665p. i have support at 363p but it bounced just short of it. futures looking positive after US markets bounced off the lows. could be short-lived though. maybe get a sell-off on friday afternoon.

@ 194p bought back 57% of what i sold few days ago. its not just criminals that like to revisit a crime scene, traders too!

odd how retail stocks were up today when the pound continued its fall. i note M&S and Next were both up strong. maybe those rose off the back of this share going up nearly 20%. If share price pulls back under 196p tomorrow then i think more downside to come.

i got back in yesterday and out this morning for around 15% profit.. i must say i felt a bit uneasy seeing the SP close low yesterday at 176p. got in at 181p and 176.5p. out at 198.6p. other retailers seem to be rising this morning, maybe get a pull back later.

344p in the short-term looks doable as SP tracks Easyjet down. needs to break 358p first though..

a close below 383p not good. markets awaiting Deutsche bank news i think. hence they are down today. S&P 500 close to danger zone. needs to hold 2140 and esp. 2100.

down 7% is sure to drag this share down a bit too..

i hope you are right samadhi.. the market is pricing in a much reduced Deutche Bank fine..nearer to $5bn than $14bn. on Friday a source said $5bn had been agreed but that is just speculation IMO. thats why markets rallied on Friday afternoon and yesterday. Gold now $1269 vs 1282 at 4:30pm Randgold is another 3% down in US trading (down 8% on the day!) :( wish i had stayed in cash and not bought RRS today. expect SP to open lower unless gold price recovers before open.

ut trade 194.30p yet 199p being paid right up until close.. go figure!

travel stocks are down today, likely because of strong rise in oil price. i don't see IAG getting back up to £4 today so will wait for lower re-entry. 387p or below.

i missed the drop this morning to 390p. now bounced back up wee bit to 396p. see if it pull back today..

no. IAG has been good to me last couple of days. wish i could say that about all shares in my portfolio. a good strategy is to sell/buy in chunks. I took a risk with IAG buying more than i should have but got out feeling happy with a small profit. from 387 to 402 today was a nice rise.

sold out in chunks from 400p to 402p. it didn't drop enough to tempt me back in.. close 399p

triple bottom at 66p anyone?

think i'm about breakeven now with my buys today. lowest price i paid was 387.75p the FTSE bounced 0.5% off the afternoon lows and took IAG with it. think it could continue a little more tomorrow as the US indices finished nicely positive (Dow up over 100 points). i hope SP hits 407p tomorrow as would like to reduce my holding a little. or be greedy and wait for 420p mmmmm JMO, how much does this stock track the oil price? if we get a sharp drop in oil price this week after the opec meeting airliners should get a boost?

don't be too greedy JMO. 388p looks a good price. could easily bounce back up to resistance at 405p than go to 383p..
