how many shares are in issue? volume today was about 18m shares. if mcap is around £35m? then there are 153m shares in issue? if thats correct why such big volume?

but oil stocks hardly moving. what does that tell you? BP closed back at the lows it saw yesterday.

the main new bit i take away from the reuters new report is this:
"The company needs 75% of its creditors to agree to the restructuring plans, a threshold it has not yet reached".
isn't that a worry?

this rise in oil price looks to have legs. a bit more upside potential here.

i reckon british bulls have a BUY signal this afternoon. that was a bullish late recovery.

i was looking to add in the 49s or perhaps lower today but the price ran away from me. then late in the day i off-loaded 10,000 at 52.95p. very small profit on those. i'm just a little nervous about tomorrow. i'd rather buy on a pull back / tree shake then speculate where the bottom is.

not a bad close! 137.70p. thats above the days high.
