Oil producers sometimes shut in wells for safety reasons, but by far the most common reason for 'shutting-in' a well is because the cost of extracting the oil or gas is higher than the current market price for the commodity

Incorrect, there will only be an income source if more can be extracted. If they fail to extract anymore then they get nothing for the expense.

It is happened with every project Simon has ever done, how much they raised now? 8million? How much revenue? Zero pennies. But as you say , this time is different even though it follows the exact Sam pattern. Plus if u have a service agreement would u not normally get paid for it and it not just be on a success ??

If they thought they could get more out of the Wells then they would have there current operators do it, simple. Fact is they don’t think it’s worth the investment.

It’s win win for them, if nothing happens they lose nothing and adl lose what they have spent on the well, IF they increase production they pay adl back for the money spent on the well. Once that’s paid back they stop paying adl.

That’s how it is, unless u think adl approaches them, they did some due dillagence on adl and thought, jeez these guys are good, look at their portfolio and what they can bring.....
