I was around £50K down. Last Tuesday I sold and put it into a promising mining stock on the basis that I have more chance of recouping my losses in the next year or so. High risk but I just can't see GDR recovering to anywhere close to £1. I feel like I'm being proactive now rather than sitting waiting on GDR missed deadlines etc.
I wish everyone well.
I just reread the RNS and they are definitely targeting UK for the POC, I really hope that this is not another piece of kit which will be delayed due to approvals process. Bit of an omission from the RNS me thinks.
The RNS made no mention of the Coronavirus Test Device Approvals process (CTDA) as a factor for the launch of the POC in the UK. I know they said they are targeting Europe but surely they want to sell in the UK. Maybe a question for tomorrow!
The market already knows what's in the results to end of June 2021 that's why the SP is drifting down. Its pretty much stated in the Circular14September2021. The only sales identified are £0.3 million from PCR.
Our only hope is if there is something really positive in the forward guidance.
Guy… you didn’t sell back in March because we all thought that the BC deal would be a golden goose and we’d all make a killing. And if FDA approval happened in April/May then maybe we would. I’m sitting on a huge loss, but I don’t consider that I’ve been duped. Take some responsibility man.
1)We haven't got a product to put on the list
Thoughts - PCR obtained marketing authorisation before 31 August 2021 and does not need to be on list. And COV POC presumably is not ready to submit for the list.
2)UK is not our target market.
Thoughts - For the COV POC Company is targeting initial product launch in Europe....I took that to include UK !!
Anyone else read the AVCT RNS this morning...
"as of 1 November 2021, the UK Health Security Agency's Medical Devices (Coronavirus Test Device Approvals) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 ("CTDA regulations") have come into force"
and
"the UK Health Security Agency has published a temporary protocol which lists 48 tests (both PCR and antigen based) which passed the Public Health England validation process at Porton Down earlier in the year that can remain available for sale in the UK whilst their validation is completed until a cut-off date of 28 February 2022'..
I wonder if our kit is on that list, otherwise we can't sell
I have a feeling a nice rise might happen in the next
few days. I also have a feeling a drop might happen in the next few days.
Actually I don’t have a f*cking clue what might happen in the next few days, and neither do you by the sounds of it.
roger65,
I thought you'd mention the India RNS. It was a responsible action from the Company to an unjustified spike in the SP to the India License news, turned out to be a good call because nothing came of it.
What if the RNS wasn't released and the SP spiked dramatically and you bought at the top, you'd be on here whining about that too.
@Pacman121. I understand if there was massive speculation and rumour about a takeover for instance then an RNS may be appropriate. What I don't understand is what punters on here need important clarification on at this point.
The recent communications from GDR confirmed the state of play for AIHL & POC, if there are any material sales for the kit that is already out there then that would be RNS'd.
So interested to know what pertinent questions could be put to Wallbrook?
Thaismile,
Definition of a lie;
‘a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive’
Not sure if you’re referring to lies on here, which I can think of many. Or lies made by GDR which I can’t think of any which fit the definition, unless you know of any?
No Dave I made my own mind up. The US health system is predominantly private compared to Europe which is mainly state. The charges for PCR test is way higher in US than Europe therefore the profit margin is higher.
But I repeat lack of EUA killed it in the US. Too many other options from companies with EUA approval.
The point of my original post was that imo the big profits were envisaged from the USA, lack of EUA has killed that. I accept that we should have made sales in other geographical areas but the USA was the golden goose.
