With regards to the EU, I fundamentally disagree…I think they pushed too far, too fast…we were being hollowed out and people wanted the U.K. to be masters of their own destiny again…it hasn’t panned out like that, for reasons we’ve discussed before, but I certainly don’t think Russia was responsible for it…exploited it? Yes…but not the cause.

We are at the mercy of Trump, yes…but also Putin and Xi.

The EU and U.K. can squabble about who is most irrelevant til the cows come home…
