Just wondering with all the geopolitical tailwinds (including debt) that has driven the gold price to new ATH recently, whether the markets will see the 47th President as a stabilising force…or not.

The reactions of the stock market and indeed the precious metal markets, albeit the first day, seemed to point to how the world feels about it. Interestingly although the polls said 50-50, the bookies got the result spot on!

Don’t think you can learn that Tom, it’s natural ability I think. Neither Tyson or Hatton were what you would call good boxers…just natural monsters!

I feel your concern. My feeling, since the announcement of the deal, has been that the SP shenanigans would continue, at least until the deal is done, and possibly until the first bars are cast and cashed in. That appears to be the case.

The price of gold has also taken a slight reverse step, so whether that’s got anything to do with it or not i really don’t know. It is very frustrating, but we’ve just got to stick to our guns, and remember why we invested in the first place.
