Any ideas why emh is up sharply on aim & asx?

Fingers crossed we find out very soon. Possibly repsol and co will come in at the development stage? Majid did say that they may give up operatorship at that point, which suggests appraisal and development will see different parties enter the project.

Rbd have put most of their assets on the block recently so could possibly be lining things up ready for their next stage. Just a thought

My money is on RBD farming in - suits their strategy of investing in discoveries which need appraising

Doesn’t matter how they’ve done do but facts are that ‘voting rights’ have gone up by nearly 1% - which is pretty significant considering the level they are at I.e. being so close to 30%.

Plain and simple to see that I3e are a prime takeover target and management now have a job on their hands to keep their jobs!! Plus Graham has quite a few shares and will want max price for those!!

Have thought for a while that FO partner may be Reabold Resources. They have been hiving off their other projects of late - possibly to make way for a new project?

They like to go for assets that have been discovered but yet appraised such as their main west Newton project. Their sp has dropped a lot of late possibly suggesting a placing.

It could be argued that they would not wish to get the debt ball rolling until Serenity FO was all sorted?

That’s a bit tenuous but not sure mgmt would look to take on debt for Canada whilst still having to fund serenity out right - interesting that GH states development for Canada this ruling out needing funds for serenity.

Although GH states funds to be used to develop Canadian assets…

Still feel they are eyeing up a large acquisition to become one of the big players in Canada… but that any equity will have to be raised at 20p+

But clearly he feels he is aligned with shareholders and will certainly stand to benefit should share price do well in the future.

Just playing devils advocate more than anything though it does seem they have just increased from 23-26%. If they go over 30% then they will have to make an offer.. wouldn’t blame them especially as they will know the ins and outs in much greater detail than most + they will get the 70% outlay back after a couple of years + serenity in for free!
