I think they will receive about half value of their Toscana shares in I3e shares as approx 2 cad to 1 gbp

Are Toscana not in breach of some tsx rule on minimum market cap size of $3m cad?

Plus, some of their debt is due, I believe, in the not too distant future. It seems that the writing is on the wall for the company and this deal gives shareholders something back plus the chance to benefit from the upside.

Ultimately, up to Toscana shareholders. Any idea who their major shareholders are?

I can imagine I3e holding AGM and then exercising option for Toscana.

Before Toscana shareholders hold their vote I3e will announce progress on Serenity drill programme and loan notes which will hopefully lift I3e shares and therefore sweetening the deal for Toscana shareholders as the exchange ratio for I3e shares has been set. If I3e shares rise or look likely to rise in the future then not sure why Toscana shareholders would vote down the deal and risk receiving nothing instead

I wouldn’t say that Toscana shareholders are victims of this deal.

They will receive equal value in I3e shares for the Toscana shares they currently own and can therefore benefit from the debt free upside of Toscana’s future cash flow as well as any potential from Lib & Serenity.

I would say that if not for this deal they would receive nothing as company was priced for bust with the heavy debt burden.

Looks like Toscana will vote once the option has been exercised by I3e. This needs to be done by June 30th so guess straight after I3e AGM.

Let’s hope that it is onwards and upwards from there :)

When are Toscana shareholders voting on the deal?

Significant shareholders list is not on Toscana website so unsure how their shares are split. I can only imagine shareholders will vote for the deal as surely the alternative is zero for them.

I prefer to let a mgmt team get on with things rather than being a pestering shareholder but I have just emailed wh Ireland requesting an update for shareholders.

I feel that too much time has passed with no communication and such a key time for the company.

Not expecting an actioned response but will not hurt to let company know how investors are feeling about the radio silence!

Was hoping the reason for delay was for the poo to recover too. Still, bod could offer an update .

Wonder if it is intentional to offer this perception of do or die in order to keep sp low for some reason.

Thanks. But why was the question, “is the strategic investor Ruane”, asked during the interview even though we knew about CCM’s investment by then?

Or was AS happy to reveal that Ruane & CCM are the new ‘strategic’ investor, rather than just an investor

Apologies for being obtuse but are we expecting a further tr-1 from Ruane or was it Conifer Cap Mgmt who AS was referring to?

It’s clear why the price is down here with so much uncertainty around - this could of course soon flip if the proceeding developments are positive ones

I have emailed Camacho requesting the company provide an update but receive only a polite but useless reply.

I can only suggest as many investors request the same via email as too much is up in the air re. Dolphin drilling, loan notes, farm out, Toscan
