Seems strange to post what is a fairly modest RNS at this time of night, I wonder if something is coming out of left field ?
Looks like everybody is putting there cards on the table before the hand is revealed.
What a shambles only1, Hospital's & Care Homes should have been a priority from day one for same say day results yet we are running about and spending Billions on trying to test everybody and there Minks.
It's not complicated start with the most vulnerable and work your way down the to do list and in clinical settings use your best and certified kit, if you want to experiment with the fastest and cheapest you use the House of Commons as your Test Bed.
Build up a continuing system, even when COVID disappears testing will be around for decades...
This is where NCYT will excel with there emphasis on quality and accuracy and the relationships built up over the last few month's you only need a small slice of the World Pie and you are still talking in millions, COVIDS tail will be around for a long while yet.
And then there is the acquisitions and new lines being developed, any dip is definitely a buying opportunity.
I forgot to mention the Pfizer 1 was an own goal.
Could we have a Thumbs Down Tab, maybe ?
Pfizer 1 - NCYT 4
From what I remember from last week on a Tweet 7 out of 90 ish LFT's being assessed were considered of a high enough standard for front line mass testing.
Are NCYT in the mix, all to play for on that front.
SARS-CoV-2 can mutate to evade immunity, with consequences for the efficacy of emerging vaccines and antibody therapeutics.
From the article ....
Thats whole different ball game Raj imagine trying to Police that or enforce it, still im better off healthy on the side-lines in my mind.
Is it me or are the Government / Media overestimating the likely take up of any vaccine, particularly one that has been rushed through as quickly as this one, me im on the side-lines until im super confident of its efficacy and any possible side-effects, that maybe forever.
PK63 this company's SP was 6P only a year ago and now it's £7 Plus I think the Markets have noted the progress to date and hopefully a lot more to come, im not seeing much out there that has better prospects or had a better year.
A Vaccine was always on the cards but still not proven and proven over time and I saw this one has to be stored at minus 80C, good luck with the logistics on that.
Still a lot more questions than answers around COVID and any Vaccines that are signed off, I suspect we will be testing for far longer than people imagine.
Shocked to hear the NLM is closed I would imagine even on an August BH social distancing wouldn't pose a problem, go's to show the damage being wrought to the social fabric of our life.
Looking forward to some updates from NCYT Central on many fronts.
For the future it's all about probability and that is indicating a very long tail to COVID and the need to test in particular for Clinical settings and Graham is building a big Castle with all the cash to hand, "this is only the start"
The rapid tests are by design less accurate and less costly which makes sense if you are going to churn through them by the million but also probably less long lived as a tool until the R number can be bought under control.
The NCYT PCR test is better suited to clinical environments Hospitals / Care Homes etc / Airports / Cruise Liners / Sports / so on and so on where accuracy is more important than volume, still a huge market and in all likelihood much longer lasting.
Thought we had disappeared down the Rabbit Hole at the weekend.
Looking forward to an update after all the announcements over the last couple of days.
Wasn't the purpose of the EGM a vote to give the Board powers to block a hostile bid ?
I'm thinking we are waiting on confirmation of the Mobile Testing Platform with the swab and tube all premixed if they can deliver that " Bob's your uncle "
Im all for stabilising but at £20 ish, GOOGLE looks to be busting straight through £11.
