I just completed my transfer to wood & co. Biggest issue was being able to send them a token dollar amount to their Belgian bank set up in Prague.. (Ended up creating a new Revolut bank a/c for this as had issues with my existing accounts.

Everything else was pretty painless - just time consuming. The staff were very helpful & very patient.

Now only need to decide to sell at $7.50 or to leave them there and hope they appreciate further...

I queried trying to open a TABYS PRO account (Via TABYS App Wotsap service) and reply came back that i could only open an account in person at the office in Astana, Almaty or Aktau... Not very handy. Was also told if i did not transfer them out to a broker then i would be charged a commission for storing my shares in TABYs. The cost of the commission "to be announced later". (Helpful again - not!). This was 2 weeks ago. Currently in the process of migrating to Wood & Co. now.. Hope this info helps others

So what's the best plan for those of us who signed up with TABYS and are now being forced off that platform and the likes of Wood & Co are deemed too expensive? Anyone?

So far, all correspondence has been in Khazak (or whatever its called).

The "international market" button has appeared in the app this morning - albeit in Khazak language again.

Clicking it starts a process - (all in Khazak language) thats stops pretty quickly because when you deselect the "I am a resident of the republic of Khazakstan" button - it then states "you must call the contact centre to manually create an order to open an account for non residents" offering the number 6282918162.....

Not very helpful overall....

Anyone have a take on this or has already gone through this process?

Very little notice supplied if they are expecting us to act over the next day or two.

I don't even have an "international market" section in the Home page section of my TABYs app ...

At least I dont think i do...

I was sent the following message much earlier today through the TABYs app -

"Dear Investor, POLY shares have successfully been credited to your account".

I cant see any sign of the aforementioned shared within the TABYs app.

Where should i be looking? Which menu options to choose to see my holding?

Is there still a lag somewhere and these will appear at some point in the near future?

I just logged on to ask the very the same thing as I am the same position.

Also to try to identify exactly where within the app they will appear?

Invested on Home tab?

Or Portfolio?

I received that self same email this morning.

Seems they are trying to be ultra careful whilst allocating shares to the TABYs accounts....

(Or at least I hope they are....)

Biggest issue I had was getting their system to send me a text message (part of the a/c setup process).

Second biggest issue was that their "take a selfie" and "photo your passport" applets within the app had no "buttons" etc on them to take the photo - Its all auto. You just have to keep moving your phone about (up and down, in and out etc) until the app was happy and it would take the photo itself. Not documented and not intuitive. Other than that, sign up was ok.

I did eventually get the code via email.

I have been told we need the text message working though for security reasons etc...

Anyone else having this problem with TABYs??

I didn't get the code that they sent via text message to my uk based cell (EE).

I chased directly and the TABYs team are adamant that they have sent it - proof from their text message vendor etc etc.

EE can find no trace of the message in their system.

Whilst i now have the code (sent via email) there seems little point in setting up TABYs due to the fact that I wont be able to get any text messages from them - for app access / resetting pw etc...

Anyone else had anything like this?

Looks like they want you on TABY's or direct with the AIX when it becomes available.

Just thought it strange that Computershare looked to be happy to harvest Bank details on Polymetal's behalf.

Maybe this side of things is only going to work for as long as they are registered on the LSE...

That's a very good shout.

I did wonder if it was the same as my Evraz ones where the info was collated by Computershare and then forwarded on to Evraz so that Evraz had my details for DIVI going forward (If and when that time ever comes ).

Will read the correspondence through again when I get home tonight and see if reads any different...

I did receive the following response back from Polymetal:

"I can confirm that we have received your request for the Tabys access code. The AIX will distribute codes in the upcoming days – this week. We will additionally send confirmation emails on the day of code distribution."

Posting this for the benefit of others who might find themselves in the same position as I was.

Therefore it looks like these TABYs codes are defined in batch and not adhoc as one might have assumed.

I still wonder if we need to sign up to TABYs if (as per my earlier post) Computershare are passing my bank details on to Polymetal for the purposes of distributing Dividends.

I have chased up Polymetal today - will so what they come back with.

At the weekend, I received a second letter in the post from Computershare on this and it looks like Polymetal are asking for my bank details in order to pay any future Dividends that I may be due.

If I have no real interest in selling and just want to receive DIV is there even any reason to sign up to TABYs?

How long to get the reply with the TABY's access code back from redom@polymetalinternational.com ?

I got my share certificate at the start of the week and emailed for the code to set up a TABYs account and I haven't heard anything back yet?

It took just over 3 weeks from request to IWEB to receiving the share certificate.
The shares and associated value were removed from IWEB account less than a week after the request.
Think it cost £25 for the whole process.
