It’s a strange one over on that share. It seems to have a gang of posters on various forums that constantly beat it with a big stick. Not sure if it’s bitter and twisted ex holders or just a gang trying to get the price down by posting trash. There’s also some moron on twitter with a few accounts saying it’s been sold since the turn of the century.
I’ve a few though and the divvy is good.
Also they did share buy backs which has done damn all...one reason I’m hoping Genel are not thinking of restarting them...waste of money..gimme a special divvy instead, I’ll put it to better use :)

There’s been a few ‘characters’ I’ll politely call them touting Gkp is being sold and suggesting some ridiculous figures. Whoever theses focus lot are I’m sure they are just taking advantage buying a few at these levels.

Whitehat..I’ve taken some Mng (M&G) on the drop today. Had my eye on it for a while so taken a starter few. Slightly safer bet than an oiler and looking at an 8% plus divvy ..maybe a bit boring, but you have to have a few boring ones :)

Im currently sitting on 45% cash and looking around seeing, what look like bargains everywhere, including here.
It’s knowing when to step in though. It could easily get a lot worse I guess when if the virus starts hitting more of Europe and Trumpland. You have the media, including the bbc pumping the pandemic end of the world news at every opportunity which is just adding to the fear factor.
Of course we have to remember that this is a yank election year, would Trumpet want a falling stock market and recession...he will do his damnedest to not let that happen.
End of the day...shares have plunged in the past with one reason or another. For those with patience the quality ones always recover. There’s the nice divvy here to add to the pot too.

You don’t sound particularly experienced leem from your comments on how every share you’ve been in has been dogs and I assume losing you money ? ...like tlw you just mentioned.
I’ve no wish to argue with anyone, trust me I’m not that type but your constant bashing of management and the company, unjustified in my opinion, is becoming very tiresome ..especially since you are not even invested. Makes me, and I bet others, suspicious of whatever your motives are.
