I could understand building a 5% position but they have 17%- FFS.

I am an accountant. I don't see how it could be posted to deferred revenue. It relates to an activity that has come and gone (a ship docking and then sailing off!). How can you defer that into 2020. Maybe there is a way, depends on the revenue recognition method. The cash payments so far though must have some kind of description attached!

Aiming - I always like WSG because there was a core to the company, you always feel you will be left with something if the latest venture doesn't come in. I am really impressed SP has not gone back to 10p - a good indication that for once WSG will have some good luck.

They crossed the threshold for disclosure in Feb 17 - PMO peaked at 96p just before that VWAP - I really hope they didn't keep adding to the position after this - for the rest of 2017 the SP could not get over 77p. If they have added a lot to the position in 2018 we are laughing - they can close a lot of it for huge win. For 2019 they would have exposure.

Problem is I have not got a clue how they built up the short - hopefully during period PMO spiked which is why it crashed down so heavily again.

The gambler in me says with ZAMA news imminent and the fact their short is now known - they may start to close. If they do PMO will be in the top performers for 2020. I think £2 will be likely.

I hate the markets today - that undisclosed short on PMO (17% for 2 + years) is a disgusting disgrace highlighting that trading in stocks and shares is mainly an activity for criminals to make money.

It is classified as shorted. So expect nothing good.

I just read the whole undisclosed short position article.
What is the point in trading\ believing in the fundamentals - all the con versations on here about ZAMA\Catcher + future prospects. No wonder the compnay is less than a multiple of its own EBITDA.

PMO needs to have this investigated - at least Burford are trying.

Geo - I traded it twice it last two weeks. Got no confidence in anything to be honest. Even supposed blue chip is a big gamble these days.

Tr, like i said about six posts ago. Dangerous way to try to make money jumping in to drops. I did it with a company called utw. Lost half my stake, it went under in the end. They had even fiddled their accounts posting revenue from future periods into current year. Kpmg etc, they dont spot what is important, they send in kids out of uni to do audits.

Justs sold barc for 3%, watching here for new buy.

Shocked at tlw. Never follow sheet, you get covered in it. Far better to buy shares expecting good news, as simple as that sounds.
