If you would like to ask our webinar guest speakers from WS Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund a question please submit them here.
Then f... off and bother people on a different board who might actually give a **** about your advice.
She isn't being attacked because people don't like the news, but because people suspect that she has made up the news.
Only if you also make the same promise, 2 weeks you reckon. My guess, we never hear from you after that.
I'm so glad that someone with your financial acumen is on board to warn all of us LTH's about the folly of our ways. Having done so, why don't you f... off old chap ??
That's ok, we'll wait. Thanks for the public service advice by the way.
Really struggling to understand why you have any involvement or interest in Valirx Hoosierdaddy. I thank you for your public spirit in informing us of your concerns, they have been noted. I for one will not be selling up at this point in time.
Maybe in some parts of the UK it is not possible to see a GP when you want/need to, but where I am we have been seeing patients throughout the whole of the lockdown (including home visits to Covid positive patients).
Paramedics sometimes fail to understand that GPs are not an emergency service in the same sense that the ambulance/police/fire service are. There are booked surgeries and patients with appointments, we can't just up and leave mid surgery to see somebody at home within a 10 minute target time.
GP colleagues who are refusing to see patients are causing problems for the whole profession, but in my own view the hospitals are full up with really Ill patients (NOT all Covid, lots of different conditions), most of whom are really too unwell to stay at home.
I've been lurking for a while, stopped posting after being accused of being someone else ??. That's ancient history now, I just feel that there needs to be some balance on this board between those who are impatient for news, and those who are willing to wait for things to develop. I believe in the current BOD, and sincerely hope that the unnamed Japanese pharma company can see the potential of 201 and other developments.
Willing to wait for results, the only reasons to sell now would be a sense that there are better prospects with another company - I don't see that at the moment.
Yes, I'm in for the medium to long term. I never like to sell at a loss, and am willing to wait a few years if necessary. I'm not impatient for results, I get it that sometimes it takes a long time for potential to be reached, and I see a lot of potential in Valirx.
I see far more upside potential in Valirx than risk. I am nowhere near to considering myself a long term holder, only been invested here for around 8 months but still running at a deficit for now. However, this is definitely a longer term investment for me, I can see the potential of a well tolerated treatment for prostate cancer (most of the current treatments are so debilitating). I like to check in on the views on this bb, and there is a lot of good information to be shared.
Good luck to all, I've never understood the mindset of anyone who seems to gain enjoyment from other investors losing money.
Bit of a rhetorical question really. The prospects remain the same to me as a longer term investment. OK, so today is not the day that the SP takes off, but have the fundamentals changed? Not in my view.
I would have loved to see a big re-rate in the price, but we will just need to be patient.
I will continue to hold for the foreseeable future.
I didn't mean to break any rules, I felt that I had to convince some posters on this board that I am not "he who must not be named". However, be assured that I won't be putting any more personal information on here.
Thank you for your advice :@)

Investing heavily in William Hill? :@) I have bought 627 shares at 278p each, hardly a major league investment. The investment was recommended by "The Motley Fool" (you must have heard of them) and was proposed on the basis of their planned expansion into America.
I don't know why there is a need to justify my investment decisions to anybody, I am simply trying to improve on the pitiful returns offered by the major banks for deposits in their accounts.
I see many patients, as you have alluded to, who are struggling financially. However, I still draw the line at offering them financial advice while dealing with their medical concerns, as I see the two as separate entities in most cases.
Thanks for your very in depth response, I too will be voting no. I'm holding out for a higher offer, maybe from another bidder.
In the corporate action announcement there was no mention of a vote on whether to accept the terms. Do you need to have a minimum share holding to get a vote (sorry if this seems a silly question but I'm new to the process of a share takeover).
I've just had a "Corporate Announcement" advising me that the Board of William Hill have accepted the offer of 272p per share. However;
1 - Why would anyone accept an offer less than the current share price?
2 - Who would buy my current shares at this time if I decide to hold on to them?
Not sure why the 201 news was not well received. There are still other compounds in development, and a paper loss (like a paper profit) only becomes real when selling. I'm not heavily invested here, so I am willing to see how things go over the next 6-12 months or so.
I sold up this afternoon at 295.9p, happy with the return on my initial investment but (as ever) failing to call the top of the market. I will continue to watch this space, and may well jump back in if there is any re-trace of the SP. Best of luck to all of you who have held on.
