The epic American oil boom is just getting started. OPEC, on the other hand, is stuck on the sidelines.

US oil production is on track to spike to a record 13.4 million barrels per day by the end of 2019, according to a recent report by energy research firm Rystad Energy. Texas alone is expected to soon top 5 million barrels per day in oil production — more than any OPEC member other than Saudi Arabia.

Agreed. However both parties have entered into negotiations. Therefore if this was a sht asset then SNPC would make a quick decision giving up a large percentage and saving on further payments. After all AAOG would be quite happy with a much bigger proportion. Think about this also. SNPC are contractually obligated but why would they increase payments at their own free will. Think hard Woody. What would you do. Any common sense and you would arrive at the same conclusion as the rest of us. Think PATIENCE. This is not a 5 minute investment.

If this asset was no good as the derampers would have us believe. Then answer this. Why on earth would an organisation like SNPC continue making payment and increasing them at that ? If this was such a bad asset,would'nt SNPC stop making payments and just give up a large % of their ownership saving approx.2mill and giving away nothing as any percentage of zero is zero.

Woody don't forget we have the minimum mengo to fall back on if need be. Therefore the base production is as originally forecast at 1500 bopd. We had a very pleasamt surprise of Djeno free flowing to the surface under its own steam. This has led to AAOG re considering its original target of Djeno. By close of play next Friday we could have that decision with substantially upgraded figure. Should that happen within the given timeframe remains to be seen as you say. However we do have oil and an abundance of news to follow very soon. I have topped up this week and will top up again if this drops further. You must admit this is one of the better AIM listed companies out there. After all there is a jungle of rubbish for us to get trapped in and lose our money with. In addition there is a lot of attention in the region also. We are in a win win situation. Just a little patience needed.

Tiptop i do recall a statement DS makes during an interview whereby he emphasises that the possibility of a placing exists for the purpose of 104 or to enhance the company assets. This he was very clear and positive with. The larger predators will also have their eye on us for sure.

I think that the report is ready and that it is likely that there are some heavy discussions on gov talks on licence and also percentage re alignment. I also think that if the report is ready then so is the decision on either Mengo or Djeno execution is also made. Delay in my opinion is down to the licence % agreements. The chances of raising funds is very high if they are now going for Djeno. He has stated this several times in the past that he would only do this for both the benefit of progress and the shareholders. He would not no it in order to keep the lights on. In time all will come good. After all we have oil, lots of it.
