The G7 as a group and as individual states do have myriad issues.

UK MSM is damaged for sure and needs better oversight.

However, the G7 are democracies and there's the rub. Autocracies tend to have sticky ends unless they open up to some degree, as power tends to corrupt and absolute power absolutely corrupts.

The global tectonic plates of power are re-aligning for this century, what that might mean in some many ways is very much TBD.

On a more micro-level, let's aim for a nice up-tick in AAL. All the best.

I read in one of the broadsheet commentaries that China has pivoted more to focus on Security rather that Economy - not sure I wholly agree with that sentiment - a major part of Chinese security is its economic strength as that economic strength gives it negotiating in sway of things. China is clearly now a victim of it's massive and rapid economic growth and needs a mature plan to deal with its economic re-pivot. However, its arrogance in causing security concerns with its neighbours and its mischief of supporting Russia and wanting to make BRICS a counterweight to G20 is not going to help matters on a trust and stability point of view. I still think that economically China will create a temporary useful reboot but medium and long term I have concerns that China is going to be a very troubled country.

But we must also take stock of the bonkers size of the Chinese markets, just a slight recovery in some sectors could lead to interdependent sectors/areas benefiting due to the shear economy of scale that could take place. I agree though, China is an enmeshed pickle overall and symptomatic of the myriad pressures that knocked Japan from its perch decades ago. Unlike Japan though, China does have the magnitude and scale to offer glimmers of hope IMHO. It is a drawn waiting fame in the interim frustratingly.

Dinoken: The Chinese can't allow their woes to continue, they will go for it soon and we'll see a + correction - the sustainability of that correction will be the topic of another conversation but the Chinese will not want to fail now as it's aiming to get the top-seat in the world of economic power.

what i don't understand about odious odey, is they bought a load of stock here recently, even when they were under orders to stop investing, i posted on this board a few weeks a bout it. so f knows why the ****5 did that and why they are causing chaos now. the sp should recover but it will take a few months and needs some good news rns to flow. bottom drawer job for now frustratingly, expected better and sooner with this one.

You can't make it up can you. Zak points out that trend is good, British Bull's have now labelled it a stonking buy and the SP goes down. My view, MMs marking down for some big buys coming so their corporate buddies can maximise return.
