You're just one of many people who have turned up and done just that for days on end. We all know Brexit, reactions to, has and will have an affect going forward, but we don't telling daily. This is ongoing.

As for the vaccines there will be pros and cons, and with at least 2 US vaccines proving their worth at present and the AZ one on the way (the compensation claim I reserve judgement on until more is know) then there's some way out.

If you're here longterm for what RR is trying to do these things are bumps in the road but people do seem to have been trying to link this company intrinsically to them for quite a while now. If you're doing it here I hope you're doing it elsewhere, to be fair.

There's a fair bit of trolling going on here, though.

Folks trying to get Rolls-Royce linked to every bit of vaccine news, good or bad, seems a bit OTT to me. Focus on the pos and negs of what RR are actually doing - manufacturing, the nuclear future and tech innovations. Brexit will have an impact, but then historical Eurozone movements affected things as well. Swings and roundabouts.

This isn't a pharma. Yes, there are or can be ripples, but ultimately if AstraZeneca boob then it will affect them more than us. RR will make or break on its own news/merit. Let's just keep that in focus.

Yes I don't need lecturing about checking accounts' thank you. One can express sympathy for people, especially at Christmas during a pandemic, without being told to feck off in other words. Save your scorn for the people on here trying to ramp and deramp these shares night and day for nefarious means. I've been a shareholder on AIM and FTSE for the last decade so I know what I'm doing, cheers.

I know it's not personal, but business is harsh. It's a dog eat dog world.

It's a strange message to send out imo. They're saying on one hand they're keeping the plant open and jobs aren't moving abroad, whilst moving work/jobs abroad. It's a huge kick in the teeth for loyal British workers no matter what way you look at it. But RR says it's necessary.

So I'm at a loss as to whether they're trying to smoke people out and wind the plant down bit by bit or they have a rescue package in the background where workers can be utilised elsewhere or switched to a new project. Either way it's bloody harsh before Christmas. I know it's the way of the world and it'll always happen, but it does leave a sour taste.

Some of them advocate RR and some do not. Just because one writer is recommending it, the person might have always been a fan.

I do actually like the MF because they drop in nuggets of interesting info at times and at least back up their picks. They also have to state at the bottom of the page who they have a holding with. The last piece I think was by someone saying steer clear of RR but plugging Diageo and something else, which it then transpired he had shares in. So at least they're transparent. I'd have posted it but MF stuff seems unwelcome here so didn't bother.

This is very true, Bline, but they've also been depressed in terms of flight uncertainty, manufacturing and financials all over the place. With an end in sight, good solid companies might firm up a bit more back to pre-Covid levels.

This diddling down here is bargain basement stuff.

Half the problem is that we don't have a mindset that is free of the EU. No European country does.

It started out with great intent, to be a small, friendly trading block, not the massive, overbearing political and social influence, many would say, intrusion, that it's become.

Lol, Idk, god knows. What a thing to ask. Why don't you keep an eye on the RR news, website, RNSs, get a feel for the company, what it's involved with and where it's heading? This page is full of links to company info. You could sit back, grab a hot drink and just use the day to peruse the content. If it's going in a direction you like, make your decision from there?
