RE: Delisting27 Nov 2025 18:21
I note you haven’t answered my question. Is that because you don’t have an explanation? I’ll answer yours anyway.
Q1. Who funds attendance and travel at conferences? The company does. Who has provided 96% of the funding to the company over the last 8 years? Charles Morgan, the Exec Chairman. Therefore ultimately Charles funds their attendance and travel for conferences.
Q2. I’ll answer this but in my mind it’s irrelevant. They’d have about £10k.
And the reason it is irrelevant is that the majority of investors in Ananda are here for the long term, and for when a buy-out comes along, so the value of a shareholders holding at this point is just a meaningless number.
Anyone who bought shares to trade was always on hiding to nothing, because of the lack of liquidity. And there are 2 reasons for the lack of liquidity. First, over 78% of shares are held by the board of directors, mostly Charles and they aren’t going to be selling. And second, the remainder of shareholders are holding for the long term buy-out. It’s evidenced in the small volume of shares traded per day this week, when we’ve seen more traded than I can ever remember. Take Monday, approx 30m shares bought and sold. 30m equates to 0.6% of total shares in issue. It’s been even less each day Tuesday to Thursday. It’s nothing, and just shows the lack of interest in selling even after the news to delist.
Q3. Why did they come to AIM? First of all, they didn’t come to AIM, they’ve never been on AIM. They are on Aquis. And they came to Aquis to raise external capital. That clearly hasn’t happened hence why Charles has provided the vast majority of funding. The company believes the reason external funding has not been available is because it sits at a crossroads of 4 out of favour sectors, namely Cannabis, Micro Cap, Pre-Revenue and Early Stqge Bio-tech.
And thanks, but I’ve watched every presentation since I first invested almost 5 years ago.
So now, I’ve answered your questions, how about you answer mine. And I’ll repeat it here…. Why and how are the board of directors fleecing shareholders?
