Yes you are right karv I think they will probably cut the dividend by fifty per cent next year maybe if we are lucky get a special dividend of about 10p q4 but I am furious at the government for creating a climate of fear about the coranavirus and for the extension of the furlough scheme to the end of October you are going to have a lot of zombie companies bringing back their workers at the end of july when there is no work for them to do and would these workers want to come back also unlike what rishi sunak said that nobody wants to get paid to stay at home I believe quite a large percentage of workers are lovin it absolutely lovin it getting paid eighty per cent and in a lot of cases one hundred per cent to do nothing you are now creating a climate of dependency on the government which just adds to the people who were already claiming benefits and absolutely lovin it

Aviva down eight per cent from the high of 250p on Monday to 230p today will be very difficult to get back to 250p any decent rise will be sold into by the day traders along the long journey towards 250p

The dow jones is overvalued aviva did not share in the rise in the dow from the March lows but it will surely get hammered when the dow falls significantly
