OPEC ....the group increased production by just 210,000 bpd instead of the 400,000 bpd increased production that the alliance agreed to—creating a January shortfall of 190,000 barrels per day.

But the real shortfall is much larger.

Looking back at the base amounts that OPEC is working with, and factoring in each month’s planned increased production, January production cuts from OPEC show a much larger shortfall.

OPEC’s actual January production cuts still amounted to 2.803 million barrels per day short of the base levels when OPEC agreed to the cuts. This compares to the pledged cut for January of 2.129 million bpd.

This equates to an extra 674,000 bpd in cuts for January than what OPEC has agreed to.

Beynon, OPEC has failed to increase output up to agreed levels last time, with regards to the shale plays, all the easy pickings have now been bled dry..................... A lot has been written recently about OPEC's spare capacity and the not too rosy outlook for it. That spare capacity is in decline for several reasons, but chief among them appears to be underinvestment. As a result, JP Morgan earlier this month warned that Brent could rise to $125 per barrel as OPEC's spare production capacity falls to 4 percent of total capacity by the fourth quarter of 2022.

Well what what an incredibly vague RNS, certainly not written to draw attention to CASP, almost like they have had to release a (Deep flowing) RNS, ........120 Bopd !!! I used to have an old Mitsubishi Shogun 2800 that leaked more than 120 Bopd

news on the 600m side track coming up, The next new well to be drilled on the MJF structure will be Well 152, again to be drilled as a horizontal well. We are also re-drilling existing wells on the MJF structure on a horizontal basis, with existing Well 142 the next to receive a 600 meter horizontal side-track. BRENT above $88.... and side tracks on the SY wells...South Yelemes

We have now received the 25 year production licence for the South Yelemes structure.
This allows existing wells to be re-opened, and the majority of production from the structure to be sold at international rather than domestic prices.
The structure lends itself to use of the horizontal drilling approach that is working so well on the MJF structure. Whats not to like
