Trotsky, the number of shares a person holds in CASP is irrelevant, everyone on here is welcome and respected, to a person with limited funds £1000 is a huge amount of money, if you are an RS6 owner it just about fills the tank up each week

KILM, PS:- No you don't have to do anything, CASP pay it automatically,

Kilm, yes CASP pay a dividend every month, all CASP shareholders receive it (If you hold on DIVI date) cash is credited to your trading/ISA account, off the top of my head I think you get roughly £450 per million shares per month !!! .............. a lot of investors on here re-invest their dividend into CASP shares, this has to be done by you, as CASP do not offer a discounted Dividend Re-investment Plan (DRIP) yet 8-((

Kheldar, personally I don't think there is any problem with the original hole, the side track is to exploit the 3900m oil, the original hole is targeting totally different levels, multilateral drill all day long, after some Goggling, (I am no expert at all) the side track is commenced in a cased and cemented section of the main bore and at a depth where the pressure is controllable, we have no idea of the Geology outside the bore, if we start punching holes in the casing where porous rocks are present, what problems will that cause?
