Omega Diagnostics gets its labs ready for mass COVID-19 test kit production as it expects MHRA pre-approval

Omega Diagnostics has today confirmed that is undergoing a big recruitment drive after it revealed that it is making progress in building up its capacity with a view to producing up to 100,000 rapid COVID-19 tests per week as planned.

Speaking to ShareBuyers last week, Omega Diagnostics CEO Colin King confirmed plans to be able to produce 100,000 COVID-19 tests per week in September as the firm gets ready for a commercial ramp up for this as well as other products in development. Production could also scale up to 200,000 tests per week in October.

A tweet from Omega Diagnostics added further reassurance that it will be able to handle the planned capacity – showing insight into its lab and noting that a big recruitment drive is happening ahead of its imminent large-scale manufacturing kit that is due to arrive soon.

An honest post mate, I feel your pain. I lost money here 3 years ago and haven't waded back in since.
It looks like a good recovery stock at this level.

As the majority of office workers switch to wfh, companies are going to need a tight reign on security. I feel swg is a safe bet.
