The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Agreed. I find it odd/disappointing that the 're rate after PEA' is followed by a news drought of nearly 3 months. This company is a lot more professional than some of the shoddy outfits on AIM that issue news when the admin clerk gets new paper clips....BUT.....this is bordering on ridiculous that this amount of time has passed with nothing. We are a good 30%down post PEA. Talk of JV or buy out which seems the most sensible options. IF.....they are going to drill after being offered an unacceptable price then surley that would not take long. If it were my company I would say...there you go 1 million ounces proved....do you want it? If the answer is no....or the price an issue then I would immediately implement plan B....raise money and drill. This would likely prove upnanother 400k ounces and re open negotiations in a stronger position. There is of course the fact that 70 million or so have changed hands.... This may have out a spanner in the works short term till this is sorted out. I want the website updated re holders....last update 19 Jan. Whatever....this is getting into the realms of poor communication and poor investor relations. A reason I came out 18 months ago. This needs a rocket up it's arsenal....whatever the outcome it needs clarity and soon. Glass of wine required....... COYS.
Yeh. I think there's only us that show any loyalty to a company (allbeit cos were tied in). The big hitters use all sorts of shenanigans and still come up smelling of roses. If I fell into a bucket of ni pples I'd come out sucking my thumb!
He owns a million shares he says.
I remember selling some at 21p. Jee whiz... Should've flogged the lot. I guess it comes down to whether we believe we are nearly at the end.....or new beginning if to be a JV. I've averaged down a lot and been out completely (at a loss) for over a year prob sitting at 1p average now. Although it likely owes me 3or 4p. Still feel a payday is coming.
I've screen shotted the holdings on lnd site. Says last updated Jan 19. Interesting to compare to updated ones. I get what you say about it being monopoly money shifted around but I think it be interesting to see where those millions of shares have gone. I also note 2 years ago BH holding went from 1.4million to 6 or 7. That I do find encouraging. Pointless drivel I know but not a lot else to discuss atm.
Unless as ed says there's a major shift of holdings going on. Will have to wait for any TR1 that might pop up. We are so in the dark here speculating between 4 or 5 of us. Haha....if it wasn't so annoying it would be funny. Maybe this shift needs sorting then we will get some clarity. PEA 20th Feb as you say mads what the friggeration have they been doing since. Something rather than nothing I hope.
Looks to me James huddlestone took taheh holdings shares July 18 reported Oct 18. What I would find annoying is if he has dumped a load (so to speak) in the expectation of taking part in a placing at a lower price. Time will tell I guess. The corporate presentation on their site does mention 2019 drliing on the last slide. I think if that was the case we would have heard by now. Or have they included this to show they are willing to further explore to deflect silly offers? Slides also show some of the big hitters nearby....Goldcorp..Barrick...Kirkland. wonder if one of those interested. Kirkland be a good shout.
I just looked on landore official site under investors then rule 26. Scrolled down and saw the listed holders. These shares must've gone to someone or the price would've bombed big style. I still think a worked sell over a period of time. Once cleared ,as you say ed, into new hands then we will move forward. Got to be looking to sell it.
No **** it'll be hard. Just the same for every other company out there. If it were easy we wouldn't be on these forums. Work in general is hard....unless yr Lionel Messi then it's fairly straight forward.
Blimey there's some crap on here. I hope they succeed...not just so I make a mint...but because in general it's nice to see people succeed in life.
Well if seller was say Huddleston. He has 15.8% . So close to 150 million shares. We mustve seen nearly 100 million sold over the last few months. Would he only need to declare when he has 3% left? Not saying it's him just wondering.
There's another. Gotta be a worked sell over a period of time to clear this seller (forced). Wonder if that's why delay. Someone has wanted out for a while and price reflects this. Once cleared news and re-rate.....see glass half full!
