@Zedmans, Owl bought his shares at 1.4£ (I believe) and been dropping ever since for all the reasons out there continuously. Basically, it's a lost cause for him and he will not make his investment back anytime soon even if Capita is back on course with their restructuring or whatever that is Capita wants to give reason for.

If Capita reaches 60p on Monday (Which I'm not saying that it will happen because I'm not a ramper), most of us here will make quite a good profit but it will still be more than 50% down for Owl. So it's all about your average share price you're holding. I'm at 39p.

Same goes to dividend. Though i might not be invested the same amount as owl, my average price can fetch more number of shares with lesser amount of investment. So depending on how much we are invested at what average price, most of us will be getting the same amount of dividend as Owl.

Back in August, Isalingebruik said avoid this share at all cost. Then he bought this in few weeks back and he becomes quite positive with CPI. And he bails now. lol. Hopefully no renting out of spite again.

I agree with you Dave. When I saw H1 result, it feels very frustrating, demoralising and they did not even try to soften things up. Nothing to be positive about. The real question only high level Capita can answer is why would you release such complete negative report in the first place. Either Capita will be doomed eventually in a year or so or it is the intention to keep the price low. I'm hoping it's the latter. Even an incompetent CEO will try to publish somewhat reasonable H1 result to soften the blows. Either they know smth we don't or they are dumber than dumb itself.

Definitely one of the reasons, the fear of 2nd wave is pushing gold up again while everything else is diving hard. What a rise for a day.

I feel your pain with CINE nofear, I got lucky pulling myself out on the second round at 50P made a reasonable profit. Then all profit went into IAG RI, lol.

@Dave_1, Not sure how you guys interpret my 75% with. 75% times 80p gives you 60P exactly. March 5th, 77P is what I'm assuming as before covid starts to impact and just right after their contract loss so my 75% should fall between 55-60P?

@night, I don't really see these investments as my failure, Both were up till the second wave fear and subsequently half year result of Capita and RI for IAG. I would treat them as potential losses as I'm changing my holding from mid to long term. Plus profit taken from IUKD and 2xCine basically covering a third of these potential losses. Greatland gold and NEX are within -5% range. So as long as there is no need for me to pull them out from my ISA, all these potential losses will be flipped to upward trend by next year. Started investing 6 months ago and just in 6 months time, taken profits, taken dividend, went through RI. Not too bad for 6 months old going through all these things with investing and I don't see it as a failure at all. The only failure of mine is having cold feet in buying Tesla shares when it was at 700$ and buying NEX. Nex is not too bad but with buying Tesla, my experience coverage in stocks would be near complete with stock splits.

Big fat LOL for that IAG comment. Yes, I made a decision to invest in IAG and it is down -42.75%. But I made the decision and I live with it. I don't blame anyone from IAG for all the wrong decisions and not safe guarding enough money for company survival in times like this. And I'm not ashamed of the loss or wrong predictions. Same goes to Capita, I invested in it and I'm down -24.1%. Also, not shamed of it. I'm not God so I cannot be right all time. After all, no one asked me to invest in any of these.

Of course it's a free country and free forum. Everyone is allowed to vent their frustrations. But not being responsible for your own decisions makes you look childish. But you do you. if it makes you happy, more than welcome to laugh at my current position losses. ;)

Once Covid is over and vaccination is available, we should be seeing Capita gaining momentum as their operations were not at halt.

The strongest it should get back should be 75% of what it was before Covid. If it doesn't, JL needs to go.

Still, even to that point, the decision to invest in Capita was ours alone. No one forced any of us to buy. SIMPLE.

But he did not come and take your money, force you to invest in Capita. The decision is ours alone and we live with it whether we make profit or lose our capital.

From trading 212, Based on official documentation shares have been already admitted for trading on the Main Market. We are awaiting the transfer to be completed by our intermediary so we can pass it on to the eligible accounts. Hopefully, the matter will be settled by noon tomorrow.

Since their last depressing and non-optimistic half year result, all bad news seems to be out and the price seems to hit the bottom already. With news like this and previous contract wins from the start of Covid, things are looking pretty bright for Capita now.
