Thought general environment and Waste issues could be discussed separately.
Interesting article, highlights the size of the issue (waste incinerated ffs)....Billingham gets a passing mention. Need Greta Thunberg to speak to our politicians.

King5hott, Yes, Ebioss have stunk the place out. Not only are they discouraging newbies, the current holders and recent arrivals are losing interest. No idea what their offload criteria is. One would think, once listed on lse, they'll leave us alone.
As Ebioss/EQT don't believe in TR1's, I'd expected a holdings update in the Interims. The interims themselves were a non event.....not a drop of new info......just an abbreviated version of Price's spiels.
Isn't it sad Smoking that we now have excitement created by a 2 mill buy. FFS that's a measly 2 grand! F'all in this game IMO. 1p and different ball game. What EQT has been allowed to become. :-(
....and the flokker who presided over the demise is still a senior manager.
Hey Woodie, just for your info and a passing interest, I took a small speculative punt in another stock y'day. One where you posted you will stay clear due to what former staff had to say about the company! Time will tell, not challenging your opinion.
Apologies to all for O/T.
Hi Woodie, you'll get used to my mood swings mate, although if you've been around for a while, you'd know it anyway. This company has had me 'over' analysing every event and with hindsight, I'd say you need to read and re-read everything that's put out by them. Despite the above, I believe in the tech and am hopeful of the USA break to get things moving here. If you have joined in recently based on Billingham, well, imo that's gonna be as far away as the FTSE. If they do manage to crack Billingham, imo, they'll have deserved FTSE realisation because we are talking a massive project here. Just remember what happened with USK over several years!. Let's keep our fingers crossed as the environmental pressures are increasing. No doubt most will be aware of the weekend protests globally.
eqtecfollower, Exactly where my finger was pointing. Alas, they have us by the short and curly's. Yes, also aware of the pre-condition for Price's appointment. He played the perfect monkey for the organ grinder.
Monthly meeting today. I guess minutes next week, leading up to October for their big announcement?....and payment to EQT hopefully.

itsadubthing,
Thanks for your input. Appreciated. Nice to know that at long last they are taking direct calls. Hope we don't see yet another strategy review which will mean everything moved further down the line. Another review would also imply that we've wasted a full year under Ian.
Sorry to admit it, but that's how I feel too Smokin. I wished we'd handed him his P45 and sent him back to running a Council operated Recycling Centre. I'd also sack the flokker that saw him fit to be offered a CEO's position.
Wouldn't read too much in that 'selling slowed down' Smokin. So has the buying!!. The seller (mm) needs volume to make a market. I guess if desperation kicks in, they may play games.
To think When Ian got on board the SP took off. Now Palumbo....and nothing!
Smokin, tbh, I'd have expected the new man to have made a statement at the bottom of the 'appointment' rns, just to re-assure the shareholders.... along the lines of ' I am thankful to Ian for implementing the revised strategy and progressing several projects and we hope to be able to report progress on a number of those soon'...
But, hey ho!
King5hott, they don't need to announce when the Interims will be released. As long as they comply with the timing requirement. Typically I'd be expecting the next operational update diluted within the Interims. Unless they have progressed on any of Ian's spouted 'advanced stage', it may well be a case of Palumbo to conduct another review.
Sorry if I sound a little downbeat, but the recent events have knocked my interest for six. At least Ian doesn't have to show his face at the AGM. Well planned. May be he can also go back to 100% salary, though the he will have taken a hit with the demotion.
Agreed King5hott. I'd like some news (any news) to keep us interested though. I just hope removal of Ian as CEO does not mean everything he set out to do and blabbered about is not simply brushed under the carpet.....apart from Phoenix obviously.
Don't need another strategy review and change in direction to deflect from Ian's failures.
Last time I fished out a website which seemed to suggest the new look Ebioss was to be an Investment Vehicle.
The same website now shows "Coming soon" with a more familiar picture in the background. IMO, confirms IMO a) this is their new website and 2) they will remain in the energy sector.

I realise not much happening here or at Ebioss. But thought coming soon means they are now moving ahead with their LSE listing? Over a month since their AGM and one would assume they will soon issue their Admission Documents?
King5hott, The incredible thing I find is the significance of olive pomace. I remember 1111 taking the hiss out of Ian's RNS and interview on the subject. The whole of the Med coast is rife with the issue and there are numerous plants already operating and in the 'pipeline'. The positive thing is, unlike Britain, the Europeans are actually addressing the issue. We really need to get cosy with a 'major'. A bit like North Fork, this too could open many doors.
An update would be most welcome. Ian?!
