* An overview of where GGP is at?
- As in previous discussions I’ve referred repeatedly to a ‘transition process’, I’ve come into what was a really successful exploration company and we should celebrate the discover of Hav and important to talk about Callum and the rest of the team that gave shareholders this platform
- Now really tried to shift gear and there are some transition issues through that JV agreement such as the 5% Option agreement with NCM
- GGP wants to maximise that value and you could argue that NCM wants to buy that at a lower price and to be honest I’ll be glad when we get past that and have better structural alignment with NCM because you don’t ever want a JV where there is a win/loss scenario
- Fundamentally we’ve come into that where NCM have wanted to try and transact around that PFS proposal and GGP have gone out and done its own Resource and Reserve and I think that the quality of that work by the team is a credit to them
- Really justified the investment we’ve made in people to give us that capacity, not just in geology but in resource geology, mining, processing and corporate capacity and think that’s made us better owners of Hav and better able to articulate and justify its value in a process
- Like to think that through that we’ve shifted the paradigm value because the valuation date of that 5% is the 15/12/21 which is really just two months after the PFS, so in a very short amount of time I like to think that we’ve added a lot of value
- Now, time will tell as there’s an independent expert we expect to be appointed shortly but I think we’ll deal with that and show this compounding average growth rate for this asset which I think is going to be quite spectacular
- Albeit off the low base that the PFS set and that GGP set at the transaction that it sold 70% on, but I think what that will show you is how quickly we’re adding value to Hav, you can do that because it’s world class and it will show you what Hav will be in the next 12 months, it will give you a very good indication of where we are going
- And I think that is finally why I am excited to get through this transition and be fully funded as I think that is a huge catalyst in terms of people having confidence we can now maintain our share of the project and take it through to production
- And during all this time we have the advantage of leveraging existing infrastructure and already because we’ve brought in the strength of NCM, we’re already starting the decline
- Every week and month that goes by, we’re that much closer to the commencement of mining, to the commencement of cashflow

* How did all of this gold get there in the first place (Telfer, Havieron etc.)?
- Fundamentally these are instrusive’s and what you’re seeing especially at Havieron is this dolerite structure which is a subsequent post mineralisation event showing a weakness through that structure, all part of this general brecciated area
- You’re getting the intrusive’s up and because you’ve got those cracks in the rock, that’s effectively forming a trap and what we’re typically seeing is there is a very strong correlation at Hav between the volume of brecciation and the amount of grade carried so when you start getting out to the less brecciated areas they may still carry mineralisation but there’s less room, less volume is trapped so your grade is lower
- I’ll add to that, somewhere along that SE Crescent, it is a different temperature movement that has carried a higher degree of grade of gold and copper so that’s not just a function of breccia, that is a really rich intrusive or metal aid event
- Generally looking for that combination of brecciated rocks associated with the magnetic and gravity targets.

* In layman’s terms the molten rock has come up which is carrying the gold into the bedrock and then solidified and that’s where the gold is laid as it couldn’t go any further?
- That’s a nice description.

* More detail on why the Australian government wants to offer grants for these kinds of areas?
- In terms of support for the sector, Australia has a very meaningful mining component to its economy, exploration is the lifeblood of that to continue through target generation and discoveries to maintain sustainability of the sector
- In terms of where they want you to drill, it’s generally around new areas as you’re typically not going to get a grant to do a brownfield extension of an existing project
- It’s about new project generation, I think the government feels if they can sponsor those initial targets that once you tag something, then the market will fund the development
- Kind of putting the money forward for some encouragement and risk sharing and can potentially deliver substantial benefits
- And there are a number of programs, there is a limited scale tax deduction program for citizens on exploration that needs application and then you go to somewhere like Canada where exploration dollars are fully deductible through to the shareholder, don’t have a system in Australia that sympathetic so a little step towards support towards eth sector but not as generous as other places.

* Not to do with the specific area, more to do with exploration to support the mining sector?
- It’s both, you put in an application describing why it’s prospective and a genuine new opportunity
- These are competitive, not guaranteed so we’re really pleased at the outcome and the team did a really good job at describing and documenting the opportunity there

* How close is Rudall to Havieron?
- About 20km south of Hav so quite close
- On structure, so we like it, sometimes being on structure is more important than proximity and if you have both like Scallywag, that’s perfect
- This is a long structure, we like the area and high priority targets there and nice to get a drill pad on the ground
- Even by Australian standards the region is remote and large so the distance can be a bit misleading but it’s in that tenement package and something we like and enjoy and we want to keep that tenement.

* From a processing point of view, if there is Gold then you’ll be very close just as you were at Havieron.
- Again, would have thought that’s within a truckable distance to Telfer, slightly more to the South East while Hav is more due East but the radius of distance from Telfer is not dissimilar
- If you have a good discovery there, it’s near to infrastructure so you give yourself an additional opportunity
- When we target new tenements, we are mindful of trying to bring these online and the closer you are to infrastructure the higher the probability, or the lower threshold of success required to turn it into a an economically viable project.

* Progress since last podcast in Feb, plenty of RNS’s and seen a new drilling grant in the Paterson Range (Note: Rudall related RNS)?
- A positive piece of news, we now have a grant around the Rudall tenement in the Paterson, think of it as part of the Havieron opportunity
- It’s to the south of Hav and we plan to get drill pads out there this year or early next year at the latest, present intention is to do this in the back half of 2022
- Have some high priority targets there and for this kind of regional exploration you try and set out a coherent program and demonstrate some potential so you can potentially access some dollars as the government does want to see regional development, it was there and helps us prioritise the Rudall tenement which is great for shareholders.

* Any idea of the size of the tenement, any previous drilling or gravity/magnetic surveys etc?
- Been a number of previous surveys in the past and that’s how we’ve effectively prioritised our targets so we have a good understanding of the gravity and mag formations
- Similar to Scallywag in terms of tenement size, a very meaningful footprint as you do in these remote areas where you tend to get pretty sizeable blocks and we have a number of targets the geo team have prioritised
- We’ve got some grav and mag targets there as good as at Hav, but I always tend to think it’s very hard to rank your targets in exploration under cover
- You can rank them, but at the end of the day you have to systematically test all of those targets and anomalies
- You can have targets that look better on paper than Hav but they aren’t when you drill them and of course Hav took 45 years to discover post Telfer because even though it was an anomaly, it never quite percolated to the surface
- No substitute for the structure of a disciplined program but clearly there are a couple of targets we wanted to prioritise hence we put in an application to drill this season.

My view is that it is a target we planned to explore at some stage and if we’ve been able to gain funding for some of the costs, we may as well do some early work, the resulting data could also help us understand the regional prospectivity better, thereby helping us with exploration planning on other tenements.
Also, I’d suggest sending an email to GGP asking for some extended reasoning on the decision to apply for the funding and pursuing Rural vs other targets if not particularly happy. After all, it’s not just Shaun’s decision, the exploration team/geo’s may have other reasons for pursuing Rudall besides the potential for funding and gaining more regional data, the team are usually very good about responding in my experience ;-)

That's a key point RA makes that keeps getting forgotten in that arbitration forces both parties to submit realistic valuations based on the 15\12\21 cut-off and their knowledge of Valmin compliant valuations.
As does the fact that GGP can't refuse to sell the 5%, once the process defines a price tag for the 5% be it through negotiations or arbitration, NCM can choose to buy or not within 30 business days, we can not refuse if the find the price tag acceptable.
Another key point.......EVERYTHING is open to change if BOTH parties agree as we have seen with the move from 10% to 20% gap allowance for an average to be determined if possible prior to arbitration so stay open minded and don't assume anything IMO :-))

Partnership Update

Following the positive proof of concept trials in 2021 and significant new opportunities that Dev Clever has identified subsequently, the Company and Aldebaron are now in advanced discussions to move their initial commercial partnership to a permanent joint venture. It is intended that this will cover a number of major emerging markets around the world and add significant immediate, near and long-term IP, content, equity and other resources to Dev Clever's future development and growth plans.



The Company's shares remain suspended pending the publishing of a prospectus in connection with the completion of the acquisition of Veative Labs Pte Ltd (Singapore) which remains subject to the final approval by the FCA, a further update will be made to the market in due course.

I think the GGP MRE which uses a cut-off that is under the 15/12/21 point in time will be very relevant in an independent process which is one of the major reasons for undertaking it I assume - we'll find out later on this year I guess :-)
SRK spent 2 months building the Kharmatgai valuation so I'm confident that an independent selection process of two valuations to determine the nearest to FMV can be accomplished in a couple of months too once the process is initiated.
Hopefully at the conclusion and dependent on whether NCM exercise the option , Shaun can then complete the funding by selecting one of the preferred lenders he mentioned ASAP and we can focus on the FS and path to production etc. going forward.
Of course NCM might initiate a full bid at some point but that will provide a SP catalyst surely, irrespective of whether they manage to sway enough of us or not :-))

Newcrest's decision to not publish interim exploration updates is their own, likely due to these updates not being material to their reporting. They will continue reporting Havieron updates at their 4 x quarterly Exploration updates which previously included these interim exploration results.

Greatland will continue to report these interim updates and along with the Quarterly exploration results, this is an update approximately every 6 weeks.

* Update on the 5% option exercise with NCM?
- Continues to advance, we love Havieron, it is with some sadness that we contemplate that we might sell a certified 5% but having said that people should be really confident we’ve done a really thorough review and have a team that are good owners of Hav and can understand and articulate it’s value
- You saw that in the manifestation of the updated Resource and Reserves (R&R) and that was all us trying to make sure we fully understood the asset
- I think it was a really significant update on where that PFS was (remember the option kicked in post the PFS)
- Our intention is to move the paradigm from the option value being the PFS value which we think is too low to reflect the full understanding of that ore body and I like to think we're successful in doing that
- We continue to walk forward with that and at some stage an independent valuer will likely be appointed to come in (i.e. go to final arbitration stage) and I think that is months away rather than years away from being resolved
- Now I think that it’s good to resolve it because people want clarity and I think it’s part of the transition of getting through that and I think when we do it should be a good catalyst for shareholders
- I like to think it’s going to show this really good compounding average growth (CAGR) from Hav, you won’t need a lot of imagination to understand where this asset is growing just given the speed we can add value to this mine plan.

* Update on financing options to develop Havieron?
- Again, part of what we want to do and it kind of dovetails into post PFS and around this 5% option, we want to be fully funded for the project
- It’s great that we get to leverage all this existing infrastructure and that manages down the CAPEX spend for a project of this scale, in reality it’s a very modest amount of CAPEX but it still needs to be funded
- Spoken with a number of banks, fair to say we have a group of preferred banks that we’re talking to now but we had comfortably over half a dozen main street banks we’d engaged with
- This asset has some hugely strong characteristics and qualities and it’s a nice asset to bank when you’ve got….. is it 1,2,3 or is it 4 decades of cash flow coming out of an asset and growth potential too, it lends itself to funding
- It’s a busy time for us, a busy process, but we’d like to get that announced and when we do I think we can be fully funded and again that’s a huge milestone towards the process
- And from there the timeframe to first cash flow or first production is relatively short
- So all part of getting through this transition period; having certainty of ownership, certainty of funding and a platform just to grow value from
- We’re doing some hard yards now to get all this in place but I have confidence we’ll get it all resolved shortly which will be good for us and then get back to focusing just on the asset too, which will be good fun.

*How are things as far as the construction?
- The construction continues, NCM updated that we’re still working through this slow ground (in regards to decline), as the softer the ground the longer it takes and the more harder the rock, the bigger a cut you can take rather than shorter cuts and then doing more cycles for a less efficient chainage of progress
- Still in this softer area, always expected it to be soft but softer than expected
- NCM have made some comments that they continue to progress through it but slower than expected (313m length of decline was reported)
- I’m aware we’re starting to come into firmer ground and the plan is to start taking bigger and more efficient cuts
- We’re turning the corner (physically and metaphorically!) and moving to where we believe the ground is more competent
- So we’ve had a couple of good days but ‘one summer a swallow doesn’t make’, it can be patchy but we’re confident we know we’re going through it, but we’ll know when we know that we’re through that area
- But as you go deeper you move from short cuts to medium cuts to long efficient cuts and it is consistent with the planning insofar as we knew this was the slow area, a little bit slower that we want but when we talk to the NCM guys they’re still a little bit confident they can pull it back as we go through the full decline
- And of course the actual time for First Ore hasn’t really changed, it’s still in that FY 2024 (Australian Financial Year runs from 01/07/23 to 30/06/24)
- Probably drifting a little bit to the latter half (01/01/24 to 30/06/24) but still a long way to go so that can still move either way, but hopeful we can bring that back earlier as well.

* What was on the itinerary when you made a trip to the UK in March?
- Really good, about building the relationships into the market but was good meeting shareholders. Both institution as there were some road shows but also took the opportunity to have a Town Hall meeting and some podcast type stuff
- Had circa 100 people at the Town Hall meeting which was well attended, so got to go through that presentation and have some team biccies afterwards to talk about the asset
- Look, it’s a good fun project to talk about, got some fantastic shareholders and I really enjoyed it and hoping to get back around June and continue that engagement, it’s good fun
- I enjoy being at the asset face as well but also good fun to get up to see the shareholders too.

*Firstly, talk us through some of these results from the growth drilling?
- Key there is growth drilling, we continued to punch into the SE Crescent (SEC) across into the N.Breccia (NB) and again into the E.Breccia. (EB)
- All have returned good grade intersections that lend themselves to growing the resource base, not infill, they are expanding our understanding of the mineralisation envelope, really good hits and it really is the ore body that keeps giving.

*Tell us more about the HG (High Grade) intersection to the east of the E.Breccia?
- Probably the one that has the biggest buzz in our office, it’s the grade, another 150m hit but a really strong gold grade (plus carrying copper)
- What we’re seeing with two hits in a row into that southern portion of the EB is this crescent style mineralisation or HG, it’s the first time outside the SEC that we’ve seen this kind of HG
- We’re ‘2 from 2’ so good to be batting 100% in that area
- As I said last time we’re pretty excited about that first intercept so lovely to follow it up and confirm at even bigger widths
- So if that continues to bear fruit, that’s something that comes into a mine plan very quickly at that HG
- Excited – a brilliant hit.

Now all you need to do is learn how to apply timing and patience so you're making better trades old boy - sometimes it just makes sense to research, buy low and hold.
You've obviously not built a large portfolio over the years despite your age......... if you had the means you wouldn't live day by day trading RNS's and creating fake profiles to ramp and deramp by turn and be a boring nuisance :-))

Thought I would post my thoughts here as was just discussing this with someone on TG concerned about NCM electing not to buy the 5% if the GGP valuation wins out and thus making it more difficult for us to borrow the money for our share of development costs due to the NCM loan still being in place:-
I think fundamentally our valuation will be a fair representation of 5% of the actual value of the Hav mining lease and I am assuming SRK will put it together for us who are pretty **** hot. The latest results are yet again indicating even more mineralisation so I'd be surprised if NCM don't secure that 5% personally.
It does them no good to have a junior partner who may struggle to pay their share of development costs either as that becomes a project risk to NCM as well, Sandeep and the BOD should have no doubt in their mind that GGP intend to try to go into production VS looking to sell, so they know if they want the whole thing, they'll probably have to pay handsomely........those are my thoughts on matters as they stand

As Shaun said last month......The Eastern Breccia alone adds to the likelihood of a bulk mine by bringing in a larger volume / profile of ounces but if it also has an HG element to it, then it will be a tremendous addition.
