GGP interims - Probs Thursday morning RNS on Sept 8th
NCM Quarterlies - Weds evening on Oct 26th for us as Oct 27th in AEST

It is definitely Thursday evening as these are NCM Full Year results not quarterlies.

TBF Aviator I did say as an explorer you'd expect PC to work through their licenses and think you have to make a minimum spend in most jurisdictions to keep hold of your licenses and agree, he's a geo he gets a buzz from discovery and that influences them even when they're a CEO, bit of a mixed blessing as will take more risks but also waste money :-)
I've been reading up the last 2.5 years about exploration techniques and having grav-mag targets is just a part of it and with so much of the surface metals now discovered/mined in most top jurisdictions, what is undiscovered is mostly under cover and so hit and miss with having to use pathfinder vectoring even with machine learning aiding modelling nowadays.
I only invested in SRES early 2020 so don't have the history you guys do and it's not the same just reading through RNS's etc. so fair enough, I'll take your word on the past and I'm not complaining having been lucky enough to come across SRES when I did and get in cheap and aware of his past success but hey, like anything, you're only as good as your last game.
But think we both agree - the opportunities with the industrial side are excellent - really just wanted to remind Twiggy to believe in their own research and stop getting wound up by Sheldrake and just enjoy the weather, like yourself, I think PC will close a few deals now - what's done is done in my book and good luck to everyone :-)

Twiggy - you shouldn't let Sheldrake get to you and honestly, if I'd listened to some of the naysayers on a couple of my holdings I bought in early 2020 I'd have sold on the pandemic crash or during 2020 and missed out on a couple of 6 figure gains, getting in very early in speculative opportunities that actually 'make it' is so rare but when you get those you have often you've had to sit through a lot of volatility. With explorers you eiethr buy after the discoevry hole if you have funds or sit (perhaps trade) through years usually.
There were those who 'knew better', trying to befuddle others with grade smearing allegations in one explorer due to a poor web article that didn't add up if you had worked on your knowledge in this area or non defined revenue on another when with rapid growth you can only define the revenue as a shareholder at the end of each reporting period and have to join the dots using other means.
DYOR is king - listening to those with agenda's is folly, listen to those with balanced opinions and no agenda as there are a few if you must but most of all, be confident in your own knowledge and research.
I find it hard to believe the team here won't be able to close a couple of deals from the near half dozen negotiations as the future need is there and a mining permit in place. The PM licenses are nothing special IMO and you can't just twin a historic hole or put in a few drills in to attract a JV without very decent grades usually - Majors are spoilt for opportunities for explorers approaching them.
Frankly, PC made half-hearted attempts and wasted funds on those although you have the counter argument that as an explorer you need to be working on your portfolio and not relying on just one project and willing to concede that.... I bet Monday comes and a JV comes along for Bakers or something now I bet to prove me wrong!!!
DYOR and stop listening to certain people here with their agenda's - enjoy the summer rather than listening to infantile arguments on this board, only a fortnight till many are back from hols and the working world get's back to normal again :-)

@Ben - Sector and market sentiment always plays a part - you can't just ignore macro factors, for the first time in many a year I thought we could on this stock due to the fundamentals and uniqueness of the Havieron deposit and situation with Telfer production drying up going into 2021 amongst many other reasons. All this, despite the fact I was expecting money to leave the sector, not for this long though.....at the time was expecting a return within 9-12 months!.
I've learnt my lesson and realised no stock can ignore market forces and I should have known this due to some of the work I have done in my career but FOMO can get hold of everyone at some point - and this was an intoxicating journey in 2020, so am glad for the lesson in some ways as time can fix the mistake thankfully. The decision to invest heavily here in Jan 2020 also went against my usual decision process ironically - so it worked both ways :-)
Look at the posting on most share boards - very rare for most to look beyond the SP and company fundamentals but that isn't how you invest properly as we all really know - you consider everything IMO and I have reverted back to this line of thinking with GGP since 2020, in that regard, there are no unicorns for any stock anyone will ever own - maintain your discipline or get humbled :-)
Fortunately - I am of the mind we'll see money return to the sector before we commence production so we should benefit from that momentum on top of the usual rerate for a soon to be producer. Of course, can't discount a bid for Havieron etc. and I currently see this at 40% possibility once a FS in hand but reducing once we finalise funding as path to production is very much derisked for us with funding in hand and will be harder to play on fears to obtain votes.
I also think should we strike at a 100% tenement outside Scally with a very provable deposit they may attempt to offer money for entirety of Hav so we can perhaps develop our own tenement but if Scally, we know Shaun intends to try and rejig the current JV's from first principles using all current knowledge and understanding and bring it into play with NCM as partners too.
I don't understand why some are so resistant to admitting they had the wrong strategy or missed out on an opportunity to either cash out or build a larger holding - just silly pride IMO - be humble, learn from your mistakes and apply the lessons learnt. Up to everyone to DYOR and decide your strategy but I think there is plenty of upside here as we get to the final lap towards production :-))

I would add Q1 is obviously Jan to March for production commencement but it does look like permitting and so forth they are planning to accomplish by year end to enable production commencement from Q1 2023.

@Livestock - I asked him if he saw Q2 as more likely for Han**** but he indicated the team is trying to achieve Q1 production commencement.

- DSO is essentially material that requires no benefaction, no processing - essentially dig it out of ground, do a normal crush in our case in a small mobile unit just really to break down into more manageable size for transport then screen it to help divide fines from lump and then straight to market
- In terms of mining license for Han****, would like to obtain by year end if possible and team working in background to try and accomplish this and making great progress, will keep market updated soon as possible when we get news.

* From Dip – Looking again at Han****, could the wet season in Australia push production in Han**** into Q2 of 2023 rather than Q1?
- Very fair question, the way we’re planning and our dates, schedule and internal strategy aren’t unfortunately set in stone because there are factors that can cause delays including the weather which is very relevant at the moment
- The way one would design the access, the haul road, the operation is for worse case scenarios, so as an example on the haul road design the engineers do a hundred year flood level analysis, so they look at the worst case hundred year water level that could occur and then build your haul road above that line to try and mitigate to the maximum any extreme weather to enable operating during the wet season
- Now, all the mines out there do operate during the wet season, you just design your mine and project to be able to function in the wetter period
- Obviously it’s a cyclone area and if a cyclone comes through then everybody has to stop for a few days, so you don’t put life and limb and equipment at risk, everyone has a few quick days at home and then goes back out
- But that’s always factored into your mine planning, would like to think it wouldn’t as we’re planning accordingly and factoring in worst case climatic conditions to mitigate against such an issue.

Strictly speaking the 30 business days is to decide to purchase the 5% and you don't just sign over $60m immediately, there will be a bit of time taken to process the transaction, Shaun's stated*** it may take a few months for completion of purchase if they go ahead but he does expect them to try and be quicker.
Perhaps NCM confirm their decision in next weeks Full Year Results on 19th as they seem to like to clump things together in scheduled updates, if not there will only be less than a fortnight left anyway to the end of the month by which time they must decide.

Just ignore them Timber, there are a lot of people putting in countless amounts of work selflessly out of a genuine desire to help each other and who are the biggest critics?

The same people who....

1/ add nothing to help others themselves
2/ are happy to spend countless hours criticising the work being done by others
3/ show nothing but contempt for fellow shareholders
4/ often berate fellow shareholders for not being as clever as them, or as wealthy, or as..... blah blah blah
5/ seem to enjoy causing arguments and more active at certain phases of the sentiment around the stock in question

Happy and content people don't spend time trying to make other people feel bad in any sense of the word.

- Ounces per vertical metres are currently at over 8000m in the top half of the ore body and there is a clear correlation between ounces discovered and delineated and meters drilled as exploration continues.

- It's a very consistent ore body and what ounces per vertical meters deliver for you is an incredibly efficient in-mine infrastructure, resulting in a good capital efficiency together with a low all-in sustaining cost (AISC).

- As they drill the northwest pod, it is linking up with the northern breccia to create a good grade corridor coming in and touching right up to the SE Crescent.

- Drilling in the south of the eastern breccia has had some of the highest hits in the ore body with grades more reminiscent of the SE Crescent, exciting to have another area that looks like it’s very high grade.

- A number of very high-quality targets across the mining lease that they’re very keen to continue to chase such as Havieron North, Zipa and Meco.

- Havieron’s ounces per vertical meter already deliver a lowest quartile cost around $643 USD an ounce and means GGP is the second lowest cost gold company on the planet and given Polyus is Russian with the associated geopolitical issues currently, this indicates that GGP is the lowest investable gold company on the planet.

-Currently reviewing the opportunity to undertake an ASX cross listing in conjunction with the current AIM listing on the London Exchange.

- Still on schedule for first production ore in early 2024 at Havieron with a rapidly increasing 6.5Moz gold equivalent resource that will continue to grow strongly.

- Option Exercise for NCM to purchase an additional 5% was based on the PFS in Oct 2021 which covered just a fraction of a fraction of the ore body.

- GGP’s independent MRE earlier this year updated the resource by 53%, reserves by 50%, included an updated mine plan and helped increase value over five-fold by adding over $1bn USD just 64 days after the PFS from $228m to $1.2bn.

- Option exercise process was very prescriptive down to metrics such as price decks so it set an option price not FMV for 5% of the mining lease at $60m, the result was a great achievement by the team as the independent valuer was not building a value but selecting one from valuations submitted by GGP and Newcrest.

- The SE Crescent continues to grow but this growth was excluded from calculations as were bulk mining areas augmenting the SE Crescent and continued exploration upside - this is a beast of an ore body.

- Compound Annual Growth Rate since the Havieron maiden resource in Dec 2020 has been 43%, have over 218,000 tons of copper and reserves sat at around 3Moz Gold Equivalent at 3.7g, it’s a high-quality ore body that continues to expand.

- Conversion of the resource into reserves currently runs at 86% which tells you that this is a high-grade ore body sitting next to infrastructure that virtually all comes into the mine plan.
