Pump ‘n dumpers?
The only scheme we hatched in the pub was that Gervais should come over for a week’s holiday in your caravan before you migrate south for the winter. Tig thought we could get some insider info out of him with enough Portuguese Agua dente
For the record: At least 3 on this bulletin board attended (& reported) on the 2019 AGM. Myself, Jerryspaniel & Condorlini. All have large holdings in GGP and we all attended and met each other at The Stag on 22 July. I first attended the 2017 AGM and have been every year since (not for the free coffee & biccies).
There must have been over 100 at last years meeting & I would predict there will be double the numbers this year. They will need an alternative venue, as The East India Club can not match that. Maybe 2 sittings? Ha ha!
Next NCM Quarterly Results are issued Oct. 29th. By then, sufficient infill drilling might have been done to compile a credible MRE. Consider the results announced yesterday and the Paddy Sat diagrams on Twitter. No way the MRE can be released in August.
For the record, I put my last £100k into GGP at around 14:10pm. For the last 2 days I’ve had limit orders set that never got filled. I could see the buy price steadily rising & was a subscriber to Mercman’s theory that it will rise for the next 2 weeks. I dealt by phone order through HL, when the trade price was touching 12.5p. They came back with a price of 12.6 and I took it. By the time of the meeting on 22 July that share price will look good value.
I hope to meet fellow Greatlanders at The Stag.
I’ve got a Twitter account. I could post a photo of the 15+ attendees if they are happy to have publicity. It might help in recognising pi’s attending the AGM in December. JerrySpaniel & Condorlini have, like me, attended the past AGM’s but I would not recognise them. With Tig’s approval, I plan to attend on the 22nd.
Merc,
The evening meeting could be weather dependent.

I’m hoping to be there at 7pm
I have bought more GGP this afternoon & intend to continue buying below 12p before 9th July, the estimated date when the rerate north might start.
In the RNS it states that some 14 million shares will be admitted to trading on 9th July. Can we expect the share price to be below 12p when those shares are issued?
If it is lunchtime at the Stag tig, then count me in. It's 40 mins from home up the A3.
Dodge, like stuart, I got out of UKOG in 2017, putting all into GGP. As my career and expertise was in oil exploration, I was disappointed as well as financially burnt. Their lifestyle CEO lives nearby in Haslemere. Not all companies have the good fortune of an outstanding leader like Gervais. See y'all at the AGM this coming December.
mushroomkid - I love your stories & humour.
As far as leaving a £50 note in the jacket that you give to the charity shop. How about this story from our local newspaper:

hydrogen, you mention A J Bell for SIPP or ISA. My experience is different. I phoned them & was told that I could not hold AIM shares in my SIPP. I am in the process of moving funds to HL who do not have such a constraint.
panama,
To change the thread. I believe it was Stout who offered some comment from a friend / contact working at Hav. Apart from the earthmoving machinery mobilisation story there was a comment that the deposit was bigger than Kalgoorie. Make of it what you will. Time will tell . . . . and the interim results next week!
magictrades, this geological & geophysics analysis will be very interesting.
I’ve just been reading a link on Breccia Pipes that Paddy posted. Heavy going for a non-geologist but stimulating.

The Fig 1 & 3 look interesting. Does anybody else question whether the horseshoe plan view of the structure at Havieron will turn out to be an elliptical shape, trending north-west. Fascinating!
Dodge,
Two of those delayed trades were mine. HL would not let me sell in one transaction.
I looked on the LSE Share Trades board & nothing had been reported.
I'm still holding a shedload of GGP. Sold everything else, so breaking all the rules on diversification.
Understandably,
This board is at boiling point before the news. I’m planning a good night’s sleep and to pick up the news at 9am tomorrow. However, I might need a sneak preview before then.
Before then, I’ll just say how pleasant it is to read excellent posts from diverse personalities with one common aspiration. I’m confident there will be good news tomorrow although the share price may not reflect the significance.
My best wishes to all of you
