Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Without going into the detail of Cineworld. Looking at all my other shares. Pensions, ISAs etc is any significant recovery achievable at the moment. I really hope it is but absolutely everything seems f*ked.
All the filter chat is childish as f*k. It's the school equivalent of not being in our gang. If you think what someone is saying is drivel move on or challenge professionally. I get away from this crap when my kids go to school in the morning.
Totally agree.
Jumped back to a 3.1 finish!
Is there any news driving the current steep drop?
For Cinema goers, I don't see how home movie can ever be as good purely down to room size and screen size. I have watched in my local Costco over the years how flat screens have got bigger and bigger and bigger. They have hit a ceiling though, quite literally where the screen size is available to the customer but their living room isn't big enough to take it.
A day or night out to the cinema will always be a thing more many.
There's no replacement for displacement!
What about the run up to Christmas. Must be the profit generating time of the year for royal mail. You don't think that will help your low October predictions?
Unexpected manager in the bagging area.
That's quite witty. I like that!
Never. I'll get back in soon enough :)
And to think I put money into RMG thinking it was a relatively safe institution! Have paid as much as 330 a share on one occasion!
Do you think it has bankruptcy potential?
No I'm hoping to buy back in at a lower price and start again. I have bought and sold Cine for a while but had bought at 4.5p on one occasion.
If I scale back and it does well it will annoy me forever. Its a funny I've sussed out it's quite difficult to be content with shares. Losing isn't great but equally not gaining is as bad.
Cheers. I don't think my 4k sell will have any negative effect!
Not sure whg the rocket. I'm not aware of any new news.
A first for me seeing it drop after I sell. Some of my previous loss back.
Powerfader obviously doesn't have much in life before he's posting fake topics on an adults share chat site. That's got to be one of the queerest ways to waste time. Makes me concerned what else he gets up to on the Internet. I better make sure my kids parental settings are up to date.
I popped on this morning knowing the LSE will be closed due to Her majesty's funeral. But notice an all out renewed ***** fest going on. Has anything changed since Friday?
Today's meeting of lenders has it happened yet? Last week it was expected that Info from the meeting might take most of the week to come out.
Shares available very low. Price to borrow getting higher all the time. Share price arguably static.
Does this mean everyone is holding because its going to take off?
Not sure that's necessarily bad news. If those are their least profitable or non profitable sites with the most out of date equipment it would be a far better move to close them than have to upgrade them.
But I agree it doesn't send a great message to most at the moment.
Does this come down to insane levels of uplift when we were in lock down. I remember reading Shipping ports being weeks behind due to bored people online shopping. Watch prices rocketed during covid etc.
Now have future company profit predictions been based on two years of covid. Now its over everyone is skint and stopped spending. Fuel costs through the roof. Companies getting no where near their estimated profits online. The high Street seeing returned footfall has probably seen improvements.
What is the FEDEX link here. Apologies I've been immersed in Cineworld for a month. My other stock that is doing great!
