This certainly needs an update soon. On or around 30th November has past by a week now with no update. Come on board of directors - we need to know what's going on. We own this company and need to be treated respectfully.
All the indicators point to the refund being awarded soon. The indian government have confirmed this, Cairn have confirmed this. All legal proceedings are now withdrawing. Share buyback has started. It would be rather embarrassing and foolish to say it's not going to happen. I will be holding and anyone that states it wont happen clearly has an agenda. Looks at the facts not fictional comments by crude investors trying to scaremonger other investors. Fundamentals will prevail.

So what price do we open on Monday then ? We did reach £2.10 recently I think ? This must be above that price next week ? It’s just documents to submit and withdraw legal claims and then we can move on and get the $1.07 billion refund. Happy days
When can we expect an update re the next step with India and the tax changes. They are due to announce how the settlement is going to progress? They will be keen to resolve this asap due to talks commencing about a trade deal with the UK. It beggars belief that they only intend to refund the principal amount excluding the penalties/interest and legal costs. Wouldn't inspire me as an investor to flood their country with funds if they can't honour an arbitration award that was made in court. I still believe Cairn share price will adjust accordingly, it's just a matter of patience and probably a few top ups along the way.
