What's going on? Why is it tanking?

Think it's time we started seizing assets. Might take a while to get all the arbitration award back but would be worth it - plenty of news flow then.... time the indians paid up or the cowboys will be sent in to round them up.

Tax refund is paid between 20-45 days. If this passes past the end of February . Cairn need to go public as Indian will be breaking their own laws . Suppose that’s irrelevant as our government have done the same time and time again !

It’s laid on the terms of receipt of the forms . Up to 45 days from receipt of forms .

By my calculation it’s the 16th Feb depends what if they count it as a working day. Either way an update is required . This Indian government need to pull their finger out of their ….

Is anyone else getting extremely frustrated at these cowboys in India ? All the necessary paperwork submitted and filed and still we wait and wait and wait .. think this BOD need to grow a set ….

I was referring to the deadline as per terms of payment from GOL.

Anyone else know what it is ? Think we need to reinstate legal process if this date is breached and go for the full arbitration amount and seize every Indian asset on the planet !

So I guess the price of cairn will bob around £2-£2.10 - support is £2 as buy back kicks in . My guess tender offer is £2.10-£2.30 and no more unless someone can convince me otherwise ?

20-45 days is the timeframe which a refund payment will be made to those companies that make a successful claim. If Cairn let this period pass then I think the lot of them should be sacked. We have taken less than arbitration award so we at least need to expect payment within the terms.

Tender price is always higher not mid price.

Tender offer is always higher that current share price. When it drops this will explode as shares wont be cheap to buy.

Maybe the refund is closer than we think? Is it going to explode today ?

Obviously the 497 million shares may be lower with the current buy back as well so it may be slightly more than 74p. I personally see a price of around 235-240p when the Indian money arrives but this is pure speculation.
