In different regions of the country mills and factories shall be established through government and private enterprises in order to ensure industrial expansion, self- sufficiency in goods and products and to increase the export of manufactured goods.

A national policy shall be formulated with regard to oil, gas and other mineral resources. Preference shall be given to the exploration and extraction of oil, gas and coal by domestic enterprises. National interest shall be given the highest priority while awarding such contracts to foreign enterprises.

This new Rupsha plant was built as a duel fuel plant…….the energy minister basically said there’s not enough gas and a new gas pipeline would take year to implement….the alternative is high speed diesel it’s other duel fuel??……..that’s 3x the cost of gas!………over to you Yunus…..I suggest you get the election roadmap out there and get a govt initiated that can take the steps necessary to provide cheap energy for the people…..the country can then start building its way out of poverty and fook your micro loans……

201.   In order to end prevailing power and energy deficit and ensure long term energy security, a well- coordinated national energy policy will be adopted and short, medium, and long term plans shall be taken up for its implementation. Hi doze……yea get that but phulbari is not going to provide anything to the Bangladesh economy for at least a couple of years if it started tomorrow?…..Yunus probably won’t be around in a couple of years hes interested in balancing the country’s books now not in 2yr?……those quick fixes can come in the form of clean loans maybe in the next few weeks/months……that settles everything down so the next govt can go in all guns ablaze and set out own resources?……it will cost the government a few quid as roads and infrastructure will have to be improved to support the 20-30yr plan so it’s a big risk in my opinion starting phulbari now just in case there’s a risk of any of the loan money being used for roads etc could cause a default of loans?…….

Was thinking last night it’s most bizarre how staunch advocates of own resources have suddenly gone over to the dark side of green energy?…….I looked into the criteria of some of the bail out loans Yunus is asking for and specifically the Asian Development Loan says not to be used relating to fossil fuel etc…….so could it be the everyone is keeping their head down till the monetary assistance balances the books then over to the next govt to get digging…..Yunus Lib Dem ideals remain intact job done?.

Sorry local resources…….it’s on everyone’s lips and there’s going to be only one way to get out of this black hole……dig yourself out!!

There is no denying that Bangladesh so far could not economically utilize its primary fuel resources. This led to progressively increased dependence on imported energy. Bangladesh must explore and utilize discovered coal resources. There is scope for extending the utilization of natural gas as a transition fuel. Bangladesh must invest in coal, oil, and gas exploration in a planned manner. This will relieve Bangladesh from the stress created by imported fuel.

An article from last year before Dr Ahsan was given the Chairman of Bangladesh bank……he sounds like he is a clever,pragmatic businessman and would be receptive to Power China initiatives?

Like the economy of Bangladesh, its power and energy sector is also suffering from a liquidity crisis. The present interim arrangement for repayment of outstanding bills that the government is pursuing will not last long. These must be made free from subsidy by adopting a comprehensive plan. Besides exploration and extraction of coal and petroleum resources, required initiatives must be taken to increase contributions of solar and other renewable energy. Otherwise, it will not be possible to come out of the deep hole.

I can tell you one thing Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan would change his stance back to indigenous fuels in a heartbeat when this cuckoo interim govt disbands………it’s crazy,rooftop solar!!….is that because the fields are flooded half the year?……they need massive infrastructure drainage improvements but that doesn’t help Grammeen bank micro finance does it !!….

The stock should have been hammered with the green sh*te Yunus is pushing through but I think someone is still tucking these away for that Power China contract……..a bnp govt will be all over phulbari and own resources imho,if someone had said to me 6 months ago the govt would be changed I wouldn’t have believed it!…..there’s a better chance now a new govt will put a policy forward for own resources and that’s one heck of a return for GCM shareholders at these levels……Yunus is going to drag this out as long as he can,tucking his advisers into every crevice and maybe try to form a political party himself……when the bills keep rolling in those students will question their loyalties and things can change very quickly……

Very disturbing how the new power/energy minister said on record the country needs own resources urgently yet he’s now swept along with the Yunis happy clapping greens!!…….this really will end in tears…..even our ex prime minister Sunak accepted the green agenda was hurting our very developed nation and was stepping back!!……apply this stock one of the poorest nations in Asia sit back and watch it buckle!!…….I think even the students will eventually realise their nation need’s wealth creation before they step on the planet saving bandwagon……
