Business leaders don’t become business leaders by building on a promise they want action now to sure up the energy sector……..that’s own resources and they know it….add on energy minister Fouzil publicly stating own resources is the way out and the head of Bangladesh bank publicly stating the fact…….if this isn’t the corner of all corners forming to do something about it at last!!

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir yesterday expressed optimism that the interim government would swiftly implement necessary reforms and move towards holding a national election.

This will be interesting,i said earlier the interim govt has acted quickly on a lot of bnp proposals……..let’s see if any of these whacko green proposal’s get a look in…they are just up Yunus street but way off the radar of potentially the next govt bnp?

The power cuts across Bangladesh will focus the minds of the electorate if a proposal is put forward…..a simple proposal in my opinion,the massive coal power plant infrastructure just needs a reliable source of fuel…..local fuel transportation costs negligible,massive employment boost and a guarantee of reliability in the power sector will attract investment……at the moment who in their right mind would set up business over there with an unreliable,dangerous intermittent power supply……..handouts won’t cut it,own resources will….and those digging or drilling for it will do it for free!

Hi searcher thanks……I’m impressed they do seem to be listening to the main parties particularly this last few weeks……very often I’ve seen a bnp proposal in an article then a couple of days later it’s been sanctioned by the interim govt……they really do seem to be taking it onboard…….

Yesterday was the first time Yunus didn’t introduce green or renewable into a speech!……..I wonder if he’s sobering up to the fact that his solar and windmill dream will leave with his handover of power?

Rahman had a meeting this morning with jute farmers and said this….

“ Today the jute industry is facing huge problems in Bangladesh. There are many things to do here as well. Why will only sacks be made from jute? The whole world is concerned about the environment today. We have to protect the environment too," he added.

He stressed on reducing use of polythene bags, saying that polythene is destroying everything, including rivers, canals, ponds and croplands as polythene does not mix with land and water at all”

6hrs later Yunus at the end of his speech to the nation he promised to clean up the canals and river ways of plastic pollution!!…….

Yunus will get his green loans to keep everything afloat then it’s over to the electorate for the real work……..sense at last and that should keep the bnp/jaimal happy

I’m looking for a timeline for elections from the man tonight…….I think the political parties should give him ample time to root out corruption and steady the ship….but forcing green agendas un democratically is a no no in my eyes…..that should be over to the people to pick the party that either burys coal forever or develops own resources……..

Not a chance of Yunus mentioning own resources tonight……it would jeopardise the green handouts he’s asking for……..it will be similar to what we are currently being exposed too in UK……black holes…..preparing the people for pain to come and doubling up on making the world realise the country needs even more handouts……..why would a micro loan manager want to get 139mln people out of poverty anytime soon?……..the students have now put the fox in charge of the chicken coup in my opinion

China can provide Bangladesh with all the coal it needs at no cost to the govt……it can provide that product cheaper than any other form of fossil fuel to power a massive fossil fuel infrastructure that’s already in place?……or being as your a noble laureate that got your gong on poverty exploitation you go and try to persuade China to give you solar,batteries and windmills for a future promise of improving economic relations 😂??……..

King Yunus is rooting out the corruption but legal challenges are very weak,the judiciary has no money to pursue former executives and the lights are going out…….this old man on the throne is deluded if he thinks he can single handily fix this…….he’s not got the authority but he thinks he’s got the power to push China into moving solar manufacturing into Bangla……..all China has to do is sit and wait for the unrest to surface again…….they need a champion with a big backing like doze says……..band aids on the department budgets ain’t gonna cut it
