This is a good assessment of the situation, Newcrest will pick this up on the cheap. Newcrest don’t build a 1200m decline for nothing without being pretty sure what’s down there. A substantial mineral resource upgrade or another significant discovery by Greatland may induce them to act, especially if it is in range of Telfer’s existing infrastructure.

At present we are at the in the middle dip of of the Lassonde curve where speculators leave and the engineering gets underway. Financing has just happened and then institutions arrive as mining begins. This is why many investors here say wait for gold as they have experienced this before. The other head wind is the strength in the dollar which is suppressing the Gold price this can last longer than anyone expects but for the brave this could be an opportunity…….if you can survive the depth of the curve.

Little doubt where this is going, Afritin site says they want to be a global leader in tin production, add on Tantalum and lithium which is also in the mine. Good long term prospects.

When you consider the price tin, this share should be many multiples of here, the global supply squeeze added to delays in production will not end anytime soon. A lot of production is required to meet demand let alone hold up current levels of supply. GLA

I’ve invested in a lot of junior mining stocks over the years and can tell you this share seemed pretty typical and I nearly gave up on it many times. However many positives began to emerge which other miners do not have that is a major partner in NCM, a large deposit and easy access to processing infrastructure this is the holy trinity of mining. This mine will happen and it seems thus far in record time and at a point in the commodity cycle when fewer mines are being brought on line, that’s why I’m in sure there are delays and frustrating times but few juniors are in such a good spot.

Shaun Day said he’s investing in the drill bit, but it makes me wonder if he’s investing on an educated hunch based on the good probability of another great metal discovery nearby.

Trying to wrap my mind round this, question is why not ask Newcrest or an institution for the money, it’s not like we haven’t got the gold to pay. Maybe an issue with short term liquidity especially when your drilling holes all over Western Australia!

Wow 16.80 - 17.40 spread. HL saying 17.14 to buy. I think I will look back this in a year or two and say my god that was cheep. I truly believe GGP will find another Havieron .

Be not down hearted Greatlanders. Been here all before. The staggering fact is we have the 2nd lowest production costs in the industry, on schedule and on budget. And as Shaun Day said that the resource is the tip of the iceberg. Holding and accumulating.

There seems a concerted effort to drive down the price on impeding placing, as yet I can find no evidence or news ( if so show us a link) this is also going on ADVFN site as well. One poster suggested it was more likely an impending IPO.

Good post all. Compared with it’s competitors: It has a proven management team, good resources and is on track to deliver higher growth. It’s use of alternative energy to aid its production and reduce costs is inspired. At first glance it appeared to be undervalued and having checked my figures twice it does appears to be extremely undervalued or is this just conformation bias?

Shrewdly Greatland purchasing more tenements between Havieron and Telfer this has a very good chance of finding another world class Gold / Copper deposit. What value would Greatland have then?
