Wilco you ok? Just face facts and aknowledge that Russia invaded Ukraine. It is that simpple. Or so just to highlight one professor as saying something that suit your pro russian stance does not change the facts they invaded anorther country.
For example see the below. We can all dig up stuff to suit an arguement. We all know you sleep with putin face printed on your pillow. Just remember lots of his close collegues have gone missing.
Many professors and academics have expressed damning or highly critical views of Vladimir Putin, his regime, and actions such as the invasion of Ukraine.
Notable academics and experts known for their critical analysis of Putin and Russian politics include:
Samuel Greene: A professor of Russian politics at King's College in London and the director for democratic resilience at the Center for European Policy Analysis, Greene has analyzed how the Kremlin uses emotional appeals and social pressure to build legitimacy and how that power is vulnerable to changes in public sentiment. He has also commented extensively on the significance of opposition figures like Alexei Navalny.
Taras Kuzio: A non-resident fellow at the Foreign Policy Institute at Johns Hopkins-SAIS and a professor at the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy, Kuzio has authored books such as "Putin's War Against Ukraine". He writes extensively on Russia's imperial mindset and the misconceptions about Ukraine that drive Russian foreign policy.
Karen Dawisha: A professor and author of the book "Putin's Kleptocracy". Her work details allegations of corruption and how Putin and his cronies have used their positions for personal enrichment, though some of her sources and methodology have faced scrutiny.
Stephen Kotkin: A senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and an expert on Russian history and Soviet-era politics, Kotkin provides significant analysis on contemporary Russia and its future.
Fiona Hill: A widely recognized expert on Russian affairs and former U.S. government official, Hill co-authored a multidimensional portrait of Putin, "Mr. Putin: Operative in the Kremlin", which analyzes his motivations and how he operates on the world stage.
Many other professors and experts in international relations, history, and political science are highly critical of Putin's actions, particularly regarding human rights abuses, the suppression of opposition figures like the late Alexei Navalny, and military aggression in Ukraine
