Historically speaking investors that invested early make the biggest gains. Whereas should the 'proof of oncept' fail, then your losses would normally be lower, relatively speaking. Add to this that those that bought in at the lows would most likely have traded some or all of their shares on the spikes and dips, further improving their profits even if eventually the company fails to deliver.
Why hang around for months on end waiting for the company to prove itself when you could at least be profiting and derisking during the early dsys.
BUY LOW. HOLD and TRADE the swings.
