Good post that started me thinking.. .although i do not normally average down ( i invest my maximum in one clean purchase ) maybe i will consider buying more but in my case it will be averaging up!

With a potential £50m loan at stake i think costs to Icon will be acceptable. The creditors charges could help pay towards Icon's costs, also the meeting will be to make 'offers' to each creditor. I believe they will accept what's being offered or wait months or years if the company is wound up.
Not wishing to sound TOO positive, i also believe the delays show that admin are working to satisfy creditors and icon without having to dig too deep into the loan facility. I reckon the meeting will be final and the creditors will be given an ultimatum to accept final offers.

Hoping and waiting...7p average is a shame for those unlucky to hold on. So hoping for a quick rerate to well above 10p so that all those hoping get their rewards.

I believe they are offering substantially less than the demands made by the creditors What they don't say is if this a FINAL offer?

Look how they treated investors' in Debenhams?7 As Mike Ashley was trying to get a deal to keep some of thr stores open, investors were still throwing money at Debs right up to the very last believing MA could pull it off. Then without warning the bankers pulled thr rug MA lost £150m and all shareholders lost everything.

I asked (a legal friend phoned him ) and he said it may be complications arrising from the creditors' claims. They double check the valdity of their claims and some skulduggery may be attached to 'suspect' documentation being offered as PROOF!

Could the delay be that checks are being made on the validity of the 50m finance being offered?

Will the loan be guaranteed
Which bankers if any are backing the loan
Duec Dilligence on Iconic Labs portfolio of assets
Creditors claims may be over stretched so they could be looking into the claims with a view to reducing what we owe
Admin are not happy with the extortionate amounts being clained?
Investigating the previous directors attempts to cover up misysed funds ie their individual bank accounts which could be tantamount to tax evasion.
The creditors claims could also involve tax fraud if they cannot produce the right documents.

Good on you Malbright... i am also sitting with only 5 grand to spare, though i don't want MKA to drop further as i hold 10 grand already. Only a tickle compared with some but i am hoping another stock falls back not Mka.

Big buys of this magnitude would have been negotiated to get a better deal. Then the mms knock down the so and buy in tranches for the said buyer. Lucky git.

Those that are smart enough to find the true bottom will be very lucky indeed. I once averaged down 15 times and never got the bottom right. That was on a little company called EQTec. The only saving grace was that i only used profits fron other investments. The last straw was running out of cash and couldn't hold on any longer.
