Huldiii - The changes were communicated in the RNS on 28th July 2022 that he was stepping down as a director, and remaining as a non exec chairman.
The most recent RNS was that he was giving up that role with Troy taking over, which will have had a 3 month handover since he joined in October.

The rest i can happily hold regardless of price. I don't over commit to any one share in my portfolio, so am not panicing on a slight down turn, although you seem to only arrive on red days.
Smiller - I agree most people don't let winners run long enough, however for me past experience with that has cost me a lot of money.
My current plan is to slice approx 25% of my holding at a series of price points. This will return 3x the capital i've invested in UFO. The rest will be left to run for the big bucks

It seems as we get closer to Christmas and more people are at work, the more paranoia comes out of the woodwork.

Matty - But then the Newcrest CEO role is a bit of a poison chalice. Its all about getting the shareholder returns back there now. That is not the sort of role that SD would want at this point in his career. At GGP he has the potential to build a monster, at Newcrest its about stability. I would see the Newcrest CEO role right now as one for someone towards the end of their career
