I must admit. I'm surprised AGY have not released any info since they presented at the Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. I did expect some form of an update relating to the main finding .Maybe this is why AGY shares are now showing some weakness, on the other hand it maybe the market makers shaking the tree prior to the info being released .

· three approaches examining the tolerability of, and impact on allergy symptoms from, ImmunoBON, the Group's novel, protein-based oral product for the general treatment of allergies, which is based on the lower incidence of allergies shown by people who live near or on a livestock farm, the so-called "farm effect".

Completed Covid-19 Research Project Delivers Encouraging Results

Cambridge, UK, 1 July 2021 - Sareum Holdings plc (AIM: SAR), the specialist drug development company delivering targeted small molecule therapeutics to improve the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases, is pleased to announce encouraging top-line results from its UKRI grant funded Covid-19 research project.

The aim of this research project was to investigate the effects of SDC-1801, the Company's proprietary TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor, on cytokine signalling after SARS-CoV-2 infection. It was also designed to confirm whether an over-active inflammatory response (known as a 'cytokine storm') via the Interferon Type 1 pathway can be blocked in this disease by SDC-1801.

The project has completed on schedule, with the final results confirming the initial encouraging results as noted in the Company's Interim Results, published on 23 April 2021. The results of the project found that SDC-1801 reduced the levels of cytokines associated with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) in human lung cells infected with SARS-CoV-2 and demonstrated a profile that was superior to the anti-inflammatory steroid dexamethasone and similar to baricitinib, a JAK1/JAK2 inhibitor.

Subsequent completed in-vivo studies support the initial cellular results and indicate:

· Strong evidence that expression of Type 1 interferons (IFNa and IFNb) is reduced by SDC-1801 treatment in a dose-responsive manner; and that

· Viral loads did not increase after SDC-1801 administration, a potential concern when anti-inflammatory agents are used to dampen down an over-active immune response

A secondary objective, the investigation into whether treatment with SDC-1801 in disease models could protect against bacterial pneumonia following SARS-CoV-2 infection was inconclusive, due to technical shortcomings in the disease model.

Subject to successful completion of the ongoing preclinical toxicology studies, requisite approvals and financing, the Company aims to commence Phase 1 clinical trials for SDC-1801 in early 2022. The timing and design of the clinical trials for Covid-19 applications will be determined following consultations with experts in the field.

I just knew this would happen ,I just wish I hadn't sold 50% of my holding .I wouldn't be surprised if another company, now enters the race , and my guess would be another pharmer company .This whole thing seems a little odd to me that our board were happy to accept the first offer so quickly. OXB appear to be moving slowly north ,as the impact of covid 19 continues to hold the world in a state of flux .What I still can't understand, is why hasn't the Astra Zeneca Jab been given FDA approval yet ? I know the manufacturing site had to be moved, yet the USA ,still have millions of jabs ready to go but can't be used or distributed with out that approval . any body got the answer ,or have I missed some thing ?

Batonrouge Im not sure where you are coming from .My comments were quite complimentary towards the company .How ever I also thought, that any body that was truly engaged in this share, would at least have read the latest RNS, which I lifted from SAR web site, and posted it here ,and in that RNS, as you can see below they clearly state they will start phase one trials in 2022 ,but will require funding in order to do that . see below

As a new comer to this board I am taken aback by the enthusiasm of the posters ,it reminds me of the early posts on OXB , AGY ,and VEC boards, when like Sarum now were non profit making companies and had no products to sell ,they to were seen as penny share's ,and fluctuated wildly on news. Today two are worth over a billion, and the third is now worth £200 million ,but it took them twenty years for that to happen, and they did that with more than one product in the market place, plus they could show a good turn over ,thus proving ,they were a viable company . At the moment according to Sareums RNS (see below) they still need to prove the concept ,but once they have done that ,they will then need to raise further cash to carry out the trials ,and all this will take time ,and will involve 3 different trial stages ,before we know if it works or not .in the past I only brought in to early stage projects, once the first trial had been concluded and after cash had been raised ,there by avoiding dilution or disappointment.as you can see from the note below it looks good, so have purchased a small holding but if all goes' well, then I will increase my holding considerably .

I like many others had an E Mail today from VEC, saying they have sold the Lyon and Sky pharma business which is owned by VEC, to a management buy out .First question ,who gave permission to the board to of load this facility , and secondly how much was it sold for? and third where have those funds gone ? surly they should have announced they were in talks with this group via an RNS prior to selling this plant, plus we should have been told what products and intellectual property, were also being sold of as part of this buy out as they are part of our inventory .
Any Views or guidance with regard to this would be much appreciated ,if non, then would a letter to the take over ombudsman be appropriate, as we have not been informed of the disposal of this facility, or the price it fetched , or where the funds are going .

You could say as I do, that prior to the take over announcement ,VEC had already cleared a special payment of 19P to it's share holders ,therefore it had nothing to do with the take over offer and should not have been added , to me Carlyle are only offering £1.36 p/s. Remember it wasn't until after the take over was announced that VEC actually withdrew that offer, Carlyle in the mean time stated in their take over document ,that any dividend made by VEC would then be repayable to Carlyle ,subsequently, VEC issued another notice saying the special payment and script had been cancelled ,and they were replacing it with a 19p Dividend instead ,that meant to offer was £1.36 + the dividend payment of 19p, making the offer £1.56 per share .But VEC shareholders were already eligible for that special payment ,as it was a reward for shareholders holding VEC share's through through several years of indecision and court hearings in 2020 ,and again after winning that court case in 2020 ,we had to wait to see if GSK would appeal ,but after GSK failed to appeal the court judgement in early 2021 , the company allocated us a 19p special payment and a script reduction of shares , therefore that had nothing to do with the takeover, as that award had all ready been offered to the share holders .
To me, the actual cost to Carlyle is £1.36 per share which in my opinion is well below our value , of course I might be wrong and non of this happened ,and if that is the case I apologise in doubting the figures ,but to me the £1.56 price is an inflated price ,and is not a true value of VEC

I have no idea what the hell is going on at the moment can any body up date us .Today I received a RNS announcing the AGM and the 19p Dividend have been cancelled ,which means, the special payment and scrip are still on, as they have been voted on .
In the mean time doe's this mean they couldn't get enough vote's from institutions, to get this over the line ? I hope so, as this was was never a true cash offer ,as they mixed the Special dividend in to the mix. As share holders we had all ready been told we were going to get the 19p any way ,but by adding it to the cash offer ,and then removing it once the divvy had been paid out was incomprehensible ,as it meant the real price of the take over was £1.36 p/s , to me that is scandalise.
Maybe some of the big boys have told the company ,they won't be backing this take over as they see what we see, a bad board with no ambition .We only need 25% to say no ,and this board will be history .

I have been in VEC since the turn of the last decade .Then it was suggested we would have a copy of GSK Advil with in a few years , and just on that prospect, and on the expected forward earnings our share price grew to £1.70-1.80 per share in may 2016 .Since then our turnover has doubled, and we have grown considerably thanks to our agreements with other pharmer's, yet this buy out only offers us £1.36 per share , which is very low in my opinion ,even with the new 19p dividend added , it still leaves us short of the 2016 price of £1.70-£1.80 when it was thought the profits from a Generic Advair would be substantial ,we have also won a case against GSK worth around £200m , and also got clearance for several new products, including Advair ,plus Royalties and cash from GSK ,that makes VEC cash rich , this can only take our price back up to the 2016 high .To me this offer is far to low ,and I'm surprised GSK haven't come back with a buy out of their own ,as that would have reduced their costs ,regarding further Royalties ,and would also enhance their own ability to compete in this market again , plus the chance to get back their costs from the sale of some products such as those owned by Novartis for instance .

• Novartis have posted an up date today, and it shows, that Kymriah sales are better than expected at this point in time,and that they want to increase their out put around the world ,the problem for OXB is ,can OXB keep up with this growth if they can then this company is under valued ,or will Novartis find alternative delivery vehicles to O.X.B .?• Kymriah sales were USD 28 million with the US as the main driver. Progress was made on access in Europe with commercial orders in five countries, and Australia approved both indications in December. EMA approved wider commercial specifications in Q4 and a corresponding FDA submission was completed. Additionally, we are expanding global manufacturing including multiple collaborations and doubling the capacity at Morris Plains.BE HAPPYDave .

I fear the fall today is about the take over by Novartis of a specialist manufacturer, CellforCure in order to expand their manufacturing capacity,in innovative cell and gene therapies in France. Like every body else, I'm not happy with the fall to below £7, but it's not surprising seeing as our major stock holders have all bailed out .

Basel, December 20, 2018 - Novartis today announced an offer to acquire CellforCure from LFB. CellforCure, a French company, is one of the first and largest contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMO) producing cell and gene therapies in Europe.

Under the proposed agreement, Novartis would acquire the share capital of CellforCure from LFB including the cell and gene manufacturing facility located in Les Ulis and the related adjacent land. If the offer is accepted, CellforCure would become a wholly owned Novartis manufacturing site, joining the network of cell and gene therapy sites including Morris Plains, New Jersey, USA and Stein, Switzerland, where construction continues to progress as planned.

This company has the ability to go forward quickly, especially once it gets its lead product through, I have held this share for over 4 years, and have been topping up consistently even though it has been heading south recently, there are good reasons to expect good returns from this company in the future.
