Using Apps to buy shares13 Mar 2021 14:36
Are investors over paying using commission free apps.
There seem to be two purchases of 500,000 shares each at 1.90p at a cost of
£9500. According to the deal spread at 17.04pm on 12th March it was 1.65p to
sell and 1.85p to buy. So the investor has paid £250.00 more than the trading rates.
Although Apps don't charge a commission, they adjust the spread so investors
can pay up to 10% more on buying and get 10% less on selling.
With a volatile share like this it is always better giving a limit order and save hundreds of pounds.
