Today is the launch of Bidstack Sports, a dedicated service focused on the sports industry. Today I'm happy to announce our partnership with SimWin Sports, the world's first Fantasy Sports League.
Bidstack empowers sports teams and leagues to manage brand activations within their virtual IP.
Bidstack's technology is mapped-into all of the stadiums within the simulation and SimWin Sport's franchise owners will be able to control all brand activations through our AdConsole platform.
Since we signed our first contract in the gaming industry, with Football Manager back in 2017, it became clear that the technology we were looking to build, which would enable game developers to monetise spaces within their gaming environments - in the FM instance, the billboards - had additional use-cases.
Over the years our team has been in dialogue with sports teams from multiple disciplines, from across the globe, as well as 'licensing' teams within game developers large and small. What has become apparent is that teams have a desire to use Bidstack's technology to manage brand activations, fan communications and utilise our data to see who is playing as their IP.
As our gaming SSP houses all advertising formats within a gaming application ecosystem, Bidstack provides sports teams a seat on our platform - and empowers the team to interchange anything from billboard placements, car liveries, 'skins' and shirt sponsorships, within the gameplay, to one-to-one fan messaging dependant on in-game progress or real-world events within menu screens.
