That’s 100% the wrong question. The correct question is why should COPL have been on that list? What news or new information has been released to the market to give any reason for people to buy shares in this shambles of an organisation? Dead silence from the company = dead share price.

The SP is where it is at (i.e. over 10% below the pre-suspension price and almost 50% below the re-admission price) because the company has failed to deliver the production numbers they stated, failed to prove they can service the debt, raised funds with no explanation as to what they will be used for at the expense of diluting private investors yet again, failed to adhere to their own deadlines and failed to communicate regularly. In short, there is very little trust in the company.

There is. Those creating an environment and narrative that a share has no risk and is guaranteed to appreciate significantly. That’s how people lose money. Just look at FLYBE, Interserve, SYME, ODX, NNN (RMS), NCYT, etc. The list is endless.

Now I think that COPL has the potential to significantly appreciate in value but the potential is just that: potential. Until they can prove they can get the oil out the ground and be profitable there is little value.

Options are completely free unless you are stupid enough to sell your options at a price below the strike price. If you exercise them above the strike price then you pocket the difference only. So effectively free.

The subject is self-explanatory. I see companies like Amigo who are effectively a dead duck facing 95% dilution in the near future up 27.20% today and almost 100% in a few days and we still can’t crack pre-suspension 38p.
